Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party is on course for a huge majority in Parliament, according to an exit poll from the UK’s three main broadcasters.
The projections will be a big disappointment for Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party and suggests Johnson will be able to pass his Brexit deal comfortably.
The exit poll is usually fairly accurate but a lot can still change as the night progresses and actual results begin to come through. Here’s the exact seat numbers from the exit poll, which predicts a huge Conservative win. 326 seats are needed for a majority.
Conservatives: 368
Labour: 191
SNP: 55
Liberal Democrats: 13
Plaid Cmyru: 3
A handful of smaller parties have also been projected to pick up seats.

some guy on BBC world news just said it was margin of error in the exit polls, then they broke away for the declaration at south underwear-by-the-sea.
the point is that the smashing win is getting less smashing.

My UK friends are being rather quiet tonight.
Some are happy, some are talking about moving to France. One is drunk.

Yes. BREXIT is now going to happen. This election is Nigel Farage’s revenge on the “Remainers” who defied the will of the UK electorate and held it up for 3 years. Farage’s BREXIT party has taken many labor votes in old-line Labor districts, causing them to go Conservative. In Conservative districts Farage’s party deliberately did NOT run any candidates to help Boris Johnson win a clear majority.
Farage put his own party’s electoral interests second for the sake of the people of the UK.
Boris should make him Ambassador to the USA!

Tories take Tony Blair’s old seat. This was expected even before tonight but symbolically this is great.
The results would have been quite different if he had not done so.
