There is an old saying in Afghanistan.... “You can’t buy an Afghani, but you can rent one.” That’s exactly what we did there. GW Bush and his neocon pals like Wolfowitz are responsible for a complete waste of human life and US taxpayer money. When will the American public stop letting politicians talk us into war?

I knew the spending bill was too good to be true. Between this and 9 weeks family leave for an already over compensated government work force. Wonder what other BS is in it? But ya! we get another $1.3B for a boarder wall.
No chain immigration for their cousins.
And then they get to bring in their parents, and their cousins, and their cousins’ families, and those families’ families, and...well, you get the picture.

We have many Iraqis in my town. The ones I’ve met are very cool, good American guys. Recently met two at my gym. Pleasant as all get out to me, and I’m a woman in gym pants and a tee.
OTOH, I’ve seen women in Burkas in stores ....not nice to see at all. Have no idea where they came from, wish they’d go away.
Yes, they are nice to your face. When there are enough of them, they want to impose their religion on everybody. Islam’s primary goal is to conquer the world for Islam.

I was racing through bakery department of my local Kroger when I almost ran into two adorable little twin girls and their dad who was approaching them from the bakery counter with a huge cake. I said to the girls, “whose birthday?” Dad said, “Both of them” and gave me a big smile...he clearly loved those girls to pieces.
They he turned around with a frown on his face to a sad-looking woman in a burka, and told her which loaf of bread to buy. His wife — waiting for directions like some kind of servant.
I realized that the minute those adorable girls were old enough, he’s slam them into burqas too and treat them with the same disdain.
AND, also I was wearing a hoodie so he couldn’t see my hair....had my tresses been flowing, I’ll bet he’d have frowned and pulled his daughters away.
