RUSH: One of the things theyve been harping on today and its filled with misquotes the Democrats, just for example here, keep saying, And Trump called President Zelensky, said, Do me a favor. The Republicans are pulling their hair out, He didnt say, Do me a favor. He said, Do us a favor, meaning the United States. But what was that all about? Grab audio sound bite number 24. What is this really all about?
We have a trade pact, we have a deal with Ukraine, a mutual agreement where we will ferret out corruption they will, we will. They will help us; we will help them. Corrupt has been the name of the game in Ukraine up until Zelensky was elected. Now, Zelensky has to prove that hes a new deal, hes a new guy, hes not the same old corrupt leader.
So the president of the United States, following the law, suggested that theres a hell of a lot of American corruption in Ukraine that Zelenskys gotta root out. And some of that corruption involved the vice president of the United States, Joe Biden. Joe Biden in fact interfered in the internal domestic politics of Ukraine for the benefit of himself and his son and Barack Obama. Donald Trump did not. Donald Trump has not.
Donald Trump has not engaged in corruption in Ukraine, but Barack Obama and Joe Biden have. Ukraine needed financial assistance from the United States. Its a new day under Donald Trump. You dont get financial assistance unless youre genuinely deserving of it. Are you a good ally? Do you say good things about us? Do you welcome our support? Do you support us? Is it mutual?
Were not throwing away money anymore under Donald Trump. Recipients of American foreign aid have to genuinely demonstrate that theyre allies, and one of the ways Ukraine has to do it, are you gonna get serious in fighting the corruption going on there? Because were not gonna pay you any more if youre going to allow it to continue.
So Trump says youve got a problem. You need to look at what Joe Bidens been doing for his son. They want to impeach Trump for this when all Trump has been doing is following the law. Now, why Biden? Well, I want to go back to the audio sound bite January 23rd, 2018. This is the Council on Foreign Relations. And Joe Biden is bragging about how he interfered in domestic Ukraine politics and got a prosecutor fired, a prosecutor who was looking into his sons relationship with the energy company Burisma.
Biden is here at the Council on Foreign Relations bragging about how he got the prosecutor fired and how he and Obama threatened to withhold American aid if in fact the prosecutor wasnt fired. Ukraine fired the prosecutor, and Biden is here bragging about it.
This is what Trump wants investigated. This is what Trump wants to get to the bottom of. Its perfectly legit. We have an American politician, sitting vice president admitting interfering in domestic politics in Ukraine for his own personal benefit. Here is Vice President Biden bragging about his interference to the council.
BIDEN: I went over, I guess the 12th, 13th time, to Kiev and uh, and I was gonna supposed to announce that theres another billion dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from, uh, Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor, and they didnt. I said, Nah, I said, Im not gonna, or were not gonna give you the billion dollars. They said, You have no authority, youre not the president, the president said. I said, Call him.
CROWD: (laughter)
BIDEN: I said, Im telling you, youre not gettin a billion dollars. I said, Youre not getting the billion and Im gonna be leaving here, I think it was, what, six hours. I look and I said, Im leaving in six hours, if the prosecutors not fired, youre not gettin the money. Well son of a bitch.
CROWD: (laughter)
BIDEN: He got fired.
RUSH: There it is. Biden is admitting that he gets a prosecutor fired in exchange for $1 billion in American loan guarantees, American aid. Hes bragging about it. Everybodys laughing. Everybodys applauding. This is what Trump says has got to stop to Zelensky. He said, Do us a favor. Look into this.
Now, because its Biden, everybody thinks Trump is trying to get the lowdown on Biden because he might be Trumps opponent, the 2020 Democrat nominee. Who cares? Trump has a responsibility according to a mutually agreed to law to ferret out corruption in Ukraine and in the United States. And Biden has admitted it. Theres no impeachable offense here. Theyre simply following United States law.
Whats happening is that Bidens role in all this, Bidens actual interference in a foreign government and its domestic affairs and then bragging about it is being totally ignored and swept under the rug. Trump has not done anything even close to what Biden has bragged about here. And yet theyre trying to impeach him.
Not to defend nuzzlin’ joe but to me it appears that he was doing his usual ‘corn pop and his posse shut down’, ‘I’m a badass’ bragging to his buddies at the cfr. Is there any back up to the events to ‘prove’ his bragging?
Hannity only talks about it. He never plays it.
The public prosecutor was fired almost immediately. Just a coincidence ?
Biden's toast... he's just too stupid to know it.
I always like to thank the people of Delaware who have enabled this buffoon and his corrupt family for 36 years!
Term Limits!
At least it brings in a new corrupt fool!
Your concept is reasonable. So was Biden lying, or did he really do it? Sounds like a great reason to ask Ukraine to cooperate with AG Barr to investigate.
The prosecutor seems to think this happened. He was fired in the time frame Biden speaks of and claims he was told it was because of US demands and that he had to be sacrificed so Ukraine could get the funding.
That's why we need to get to the bottom of it, and why Trump was justified in pushing Zelensky to investigate. Considering what we do know, it happened. Probably not in the embellished way "gangsta" Biden bragged about, but it appears it did happen. Between Burisma, Privatbank, the Govt of Ukraine, Biden, and a host of other corrupt Americans, this is a huge scandal that needs to be exposed.
and when he talks about it, he adds his own personal embellishments to it which inturn kinda gives the impression that the tape is simply a joke.
I have said here repeatedly, that the tape needs to be played in ads 24/7 on every TV channel possible. Do it now. Do it during the daytime especially when the housewives are home watching the Price is Right.
However, this delivery was very fast and he stumbled a few times reading it. That was it.
Play the damn tape people.
“...watching the Price is Right....” ‘The view’ with it’s cadre of harridans.
I thought Rush was talking about the interviews that Giuliani made with Vicktor Shokin where he describes how he was brought into the Ukraine president’s office and directly told that he was going to be fired for not dropping the Burisma investigations as demanded by Vice President Joe Biden.
The interview will be shown on the OANN Investigative Reports streaming service this Saturday starting at 9:00 AM. Here’s the link.

That's not the right way to look at it IMHO; it cuts him too much slack. He's bragging, on tape. That's the evidence which gives a presumption that he did it. It should be up to him to provide evidence that he was just bragging, just being Joe, and that we shouldn't believe our eyes and ears.
Then it should be filed in the same category as when candidate Trump said {paraphrasing}"Russia, if you have the 33K emails, please release them".
We sometime see portions of former Vice President Joseph Biden's appearance at the January 2018 Council on Foreign Relations vis-à-vis what he says about his involvement and role in the firing of Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin in 2016.
This clip includes the ENTIRE SUBJECT segment of CFR's public meeting. If you watch ALL of the video, you may gain a different picture of Biden's account of his involvement. I hope so.
Coauthors Joe Biden and Michael Carpenter discuss the article, How to Stand Up to the Kremlin: Defending Democracy Against Its Enemies, which appears in the January/February issue of Foreign Affairs.

Correct me if I’m wrong but at the time Humper and Burisma were raking in taxpayer dough for their little gas and oil operation, wasn’t Soetoro strangling America’s gas and oil industry with his burdensome regulations and denials of drilling permits?
Thanks Dave.
