These are must see videos with a narrative about the Russian Revolution and WW2. They have been colorized and are stunning. I only wanted to watch it once, but it was well worth the time.

The Apocalypse series is among the best documentaries produced so far. I’ve been waiting for Apocalypse: Stalin to get a region 1 bluray release for some time now. Everybody would do well to obtain the WWI, WWII, and Hitler editions of Apocalypse.

The war footage this series has brought forth is pretty groundbreaking. If you liked the way Vietnam In HD was done, you will enjoy these, except these are even better.

That series appears regularly on History or a similar channel. I thought the use of WW 2 combined with flashbacks was very interesting.
