Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill say local police who do not enforce gun control measures likely to pass in Virginia should face prosecution and even threats of the National Guard.
After November's Virginia Legislature elections that led to Democrats taking control of both chambers, the gun control legislation proposed by some Democrats moved forward, including universal background checks, an “assault weapons” ban, and a red flag law.
Legal firearm owners in the state, however, joined with their sheriffs to form Second Amendment sanctuary counties, which declare the authorities in these municipalities uphold the Second Amendment in the face of any gun control measure passed by Richmond.

Exactly. We have immigration laws, and Democrats have done everything possible to defy the laws. If Republicans threatened to use the military to arrest state officials who disobey the law, there would be national outcry. There should be the same on this, national outcry about Democrats wanting to bring about martial law in Virginia, which this is

How will these Leftist Democrats get the felons, who voted for that Democrat majority, to comply with these laws to disarm Virginians?
Saslaw introduced SB16, an unconstitutional measure that would create a total ban on commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms, like the AR-15. Even worse, the ban would even extend to common firearm parts. The restrictions included in the proposed legislation does not grandfather current owners. The legislation is clearly designed to be firearms confiscation, as current owners would be forced to dispossess themselves of their property or face a felony conviction.
No different than when FReepers pontificate about NYers.

Actually, SCOTUS says police don’t have a duty to protect in the sense that they can be held accountable for an instance where they didn’t do so. Knife cuts both ways, bitches.
Democrats must be removed from power by any means necessary.
Voting them out, legitimately, seems to set them off more than the fear of death or conviction. I mean, Tom Daschole had a mental break down (confirmed) as well as therapy for Eric Cantor. They just cant imagine being voted against once they get in power. It crushes them forever....which is the worse case scenario to a politician.
I live in CA. so I definitely feel your pain HOWEVER I am leaving CA. I refuse to live in this state any longer we get the government the IDIOTS vote for AND this state is overwhelmed with illegal immigrants who are voting in droves!!!!
