President Donald Trump has ushered in the end of an era — no more will liberals dominate the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and use the federal appellate court as a rubber stamp for defeating pro-life legislation and pushing abortion on demand.
Today the U.S. Senate voted to confirm Deputy Assistant Attorney General Lawrence VanDyke to serve on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. President Trump nominated VanDyke in September.
He is a committed and strong 'constitutionalist' who will uphold the values and deeply held beliefs of our nation. VanDyke joins the ranks of over 150 judges confirmed to the court by President Trump – judges of the highest caliber with respect for the Constitution and the rights of all people.
President Trump continues to make good on his promise to end liberal judicial activism on the federal bench. With 13 of 29 judges on the court appointed by Republican presidents, the liberal rubber stamp of the Ninth Circuit has been stilled.”

It is the president who typically continues support or withdraws it as a signal to the senators to move on or not.

You can’t just count by party. Some of the “conservative” GWB Justices have stabbed us in the back several times. I live in the 9th Circus.
Supreme Court needs to take on the entire concept of National Injunctions by district courts.. once the court bans them, and it should they didn’t even exist before the 1963... this venue shopping will end and a lot of this federal courts to replace politic legislation will come to an end.
THAT’S WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN.. there is ONLY 1 court that should be able to issue a nationwide injunction, the SUPREME COURT... period. A District Court only has jurisdiction over its DISTRICT.
Hard to believe this day has come!! Most important changes Trump can make is to the courts. Any so called conservatives who didn’t vote for him for any other reason are clueless or phonies.

It’s been said that Trumps chosen the very best Constitutional Judges surpassing Bush and other Presidents.
Of course the Dems will always deny or ‘pretend’ there’s no deep state. Those crying the loudist are often by those who are just pawns among them and generally incompetant to say the least...they say and do what they’re told.

That - the meanig of the list - was not obvious.
1. No title of any kind. 2, The report speaks of 29 current judges but the list has more than 29 still serving.
That is because the list includes all the senior circuit judges as well. My bad, that I did not pay attention to the distinction. Conversely, I would have left the Senior Circuit judges off the list; they are not germane to the subject of the 29 current Circuit Court judges.
I wanted to separate them, but it would have meant more work with the formatting.
The list is more for the AGES of the judges.
Seniors DO take cases - just not as many. I think their age (and general health) has a bearing on the amount of cases they take, so I wanted an age comparison for myself.
It would be interesting to monitor the number of cases the seniors take per year.
