Trump Ends Liberal Domination of 9th Circuit Appeals Court as Senate Confirms Lawrence VanDyke....

President Donald Trump has ushered in the end of an era — no more will liberals dominate the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and use the federal appellate court as a rubber stamp for defeating pro-life legislation and pushing abortion on demand.

Today the U.S. Senate voted to confirm Deputy Assistant Attorney General Lawrence VanDyke to serve on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. President Trump nominated VanDyke in September.

He is a committed and strong 'constitutionalist' who will uphold the values and deeply held beliefs of our nation. VanDyke joins the ranks of over 150 judges confirmed to the court by President Trump – judges of the highest caliber with respect for the Constitution and the rights of all people.

President Trump continues to make good on his promise to end liberal judicial activism on the federal bench. With 13 of 29 judges on the court appointed by Republican presidents, the liberal rubber stamp of the Ninth Circuit has been stilled.”

Not as many as we lost by the yellow, lily-livered, quaking, damned RINOS who decided to not run again.

I’m hoping that we can take the D.C. Circuit. The Dems currently have a 7/4 majority.

And WHY they idiotically claim that they’ll keep doing it for the foreseeable future, until he is out of the White House and probably even after he dies of extreme old age.

Collins voted NO, but it DID NOT MATTER.

Why? Because the other two hard-RINOs in the Senate, Murkowski and Romney both voted YES.

See how that works? Even with RINOs, it’s very rare for them to all vote against a judicial pick - often they vote FOR that pick, as was the case of Bumatay yesterday (when all 3 RINOs voted to confirm, but not a single Democrat), or one or two stray, but not all of them.

But what about the Democrats? Surely there would be one or two (maybe Manchin, who is ‘supposed’ to vote conservative at least some of the time, or Doug Jones, who is fighting for his seat in Alabama).

NOPE!!! Neither of these Democrats, nor any others voted for Van Dyke.

So, if the PURISTS here still think there’s ‘no difference between the parties’, please READ THE ABOVE and please try to understand it, at least when voting in November elections.

We got 13 of 29.

Anybody know if there’s any other replacements coming up?

If replacement is a dumb word to use it’s because I’m dumb in this area :)

What happens? They retire or die? Is that how they get replaced, if that’s the right word?

Thanks for clearing up my utter lack of knowledge in this area.

Id there any way to force judges on “Senior status” into full retirement? This would know off a lot of old liberal judges.

“Just think, if Hillary had won...”

But Trump tweets too much. He’s also got women-problems, and he gave money to Democrats in NYC. ANYONE would be better!!!

Having got that out of the way, to answer your question - think about this: Where does all of the revenue the federal government collects flow into? That is the Treasury Department, part of the Executive Branch. Where does all of the spending by government originate from? Also the EXECUTIVE BRANCH. And who would run the Executive Branch if Hillary had won - HILLARY.

What is the purpose of Congress? The tell the Executive Branch how to collect money and how to spend it...that’s it, other than their very small budget for operations, Congress neither collects nor sends out money. They rely on the Executive Branch for that, completely.

So what happens if Hillary doesn’t listen to Congress? The COURTS get to decide the outcome - and if the courts are owned by Hillary, WE LOSE.

So we have an all-powerful Executive given that power by the courts, coupled with a toothless Congress. That, my friends, is the definition of a DICTATORSHIP.

...and with a dictatorship and what she had planned for the country comes Civil War (or worse if our side doesn’t fight back).

That is why these judges are so damn important - if a Democrat president gets full control of the courts, it is simply GAME OVER for our country as we know it. And that is why voting for RINOs in November elections is so damn critical, rather than help those seats go to Democrats. If Trump didn’t have a Senate majority now, and yes, with the help of RINOs, none of his conservative judges would be making it to ANY court in this country...and the stage will be set for the next Dem president to FINALLY nail us for good and finish the job.

Exactly. Right now, those 13 only mean that some 3-Judge panels will give us some favorable rulings. But important cases will always be pushed to a larger panel or en banc, where the liberal majority will rule against us. We need at least 5 more appointments, and more if we want it to survive the next liberal POTUS.

I’ll know we’ve won when the Dems start calling for the 9th to be broken up.

They are appointed for Life, although they can retire at 65 with a full salary. So when they decide to retire, or die, and the president gets to appoint a replacement.

That’s all I know. I’m trying to find out how many vote at one time, doesn’t seem like all 29 would.

Hope you and your cat are doing well!

Break it up. No reason for one court to have that many states under its umbrella. 2 more judges, though, and it’s a done deal. And take away the courts, completely made up, idea of being able to issue nationwide injunctions on behalf of their liberal friends and co-conspirators.
