U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr has sent the totality of the U.S. media into spasmodic fits of apoplexy today as he discusses the findings of the DOJ inspector general review of a highly corrupted FISA process.
The Attorney General talks about how the FBI weaponized their official duty in an effort to carry out what seems to be a political agenda. Mr. Barr goes into detail with his thoughts on the current criminal review assigned to U.S. Attorney John Durham; and the unfortunate issues with a group at the top of the organization who politicized the FBI as an investigative agency and used an alliance of media assets to achieve political goals.
Many people are writing and asking for my personal opinion of AG Bill Barr. I shall provide that below.
Thoughts: Leading up to the trial of George Zimmerman he had two attorneys: Mark OMara and Don West. Don West was the deliberate and angered attorney who was rightly furious over how a completely false case was assembled against his client. The entire CTH community agreed on the value of Don West.
However, Don West wasnt the lead attorney there was another, Mark OMara.
Mr. OMara gave the intentional impression of being above it all, elevated above the politics, and affable to the groups who wanted to hang Zimmerman in the town square and also understandable toward the defenders of Zimmerman who recognized the rail-roading.
OMara became a Rosetta stone. Some Zimmerman supporters saw OMara as self-serving, duplicitous, cunning (not in a good way) and essentially deceiving his client by not trying to be assertive in defense. Others saw OMara as smart, prudent and staying above the fray to be more influential toward the benefit of his client amid circles of media opposition.
The strong differences of opinion over OMara were fought on the pages of CTH for over a year. Pro-OMara and Anti-OMara we both good groups of people; excellent and passionate people; but each saw Mark OMara in a different way.
Personally I did not see Mark OMara in a good light. I predicted his positioning was to gain a lucrative media gig at the conclusion of a fraudulent trial. [He took a CNN contract within three weeks of trail ending] But more important than that recognition of selfish sensibility was the evidence.
The evidence was overwhelming (at least to CTH in 2012) that Witness #8, Rachel Jeantel, was an imposter.
The anonymous Witness #8 was the only reason the State of Florida could get an arrest. Witness #8 was also manufactured by the corrupt Scheme Team of Trayvons family.
Completely made up.
Incredibly the corrupt State of FL prosecution team consisting of SAO Angela Corey and Bernie De La Rionda went along with a criminally corrupt prosecution using evidence they knew was manufactured.
If we knew the manufacturing of evidence to be true demonstrably and provably true.. well, Don West and Mark OMara certainly knew it to be true.
Yet Mark OMara did nothing about it EVER. OMara knew the state had manufactured evidence. OMara Explicitly knew his client was being railroaded by a criminal enterprise carried out by the State of Florida and Trayvon Martin Family. And Mark OMara never brought it up before, during, or even after the trial Not once.
Attorney Mark OMara won the case because the case itself was a fraud. However, the case never should have gone to trial. In my passionately frustrated opinion OMara should have called out the fraud and defended his client by avoiding the ridiculous trial.
[NOTE: Seven years later, with Witness #8 admitting to the fraud, George Zimmerman is rightly suing all of those who participated.]
Why do I bring up this example?
Because in my opinion, having watched nine months of his professional effort, right now the metaphor is: Bill Barr is Mark OMara, the U.S. Constitution is George Zimmerman, and were about to go to trial again.
Peace.
I loved how Barr zeroed in on the January 2017 revelation that Steele’s source denied the dossier thus killing the entire case the FBI had. He simply asked the interviewer: why wasn’t the case dropped then?
You have no basis for this other than your own pathological sense of pessimism that pollutes almost everything you post on this site.
There's one characteristic that Trump and Barr have in common: Neither one of them needs their current job.
Watch William Barr's interview today in its entirety. Then go back and read the transcripts of the recent speeches he's given about the decline of morality in the U.S. -- the speeches that have driven leftists batsh!t crazy. He has a laser-like focus on protecting the rule of law that serves as the foundation of our civilization, not some pathetic "good of the country" nonsense that is the trademark of the feckless sh!tbags that dominated our nation's political scene before Donald Trump was elected.
“Barr speaking out is not an act of nothingness.”

If you take his words, speeches and interviews & add them all up and then add in 5 bucks, you can buy an overpriced coffee at Starbucks.
Nothing in that link says that Witness #8 admitted anything.
Pretty sure Barr and Durham will step up to the plate because ifs the right thing to do, pretty sure Lindsey will too, if for no other reason than he loves the spotlight
Time will tell... I’ll be here.
I think one of the biggest challenges that Barr has is insuring that those indicted can be tried by a jury that has a reasonable chance of returning a guilty verdict. The Wash. D.C. area is not the setting that I would choose. Since the entire country is affected by all this, I would argue that citizens from all 50 states should be in the jury pool.
BARR: I know theres a lot of impatience. People want results immediately. But those are people who dont understand our process. We have to be careful about the way we collect evidence, and we have to make sure that we have enough evidence to justify our actions and were not gonna cut corners in that respect. You know, theres some people who think this thing is gonna drop in a few weeks. Thats not the case. I see this perhaps reaching an important watershed perhaps in the late spring, early summer.
Barr/Durham have to cross their T and dot their I....this is a big momentous task they are partaking and with the media completely on the coup side. They have to be ironed-clad in what and who they nail
That will inject complete and utter chaos into the Democrat Party's nominating process, and the chaos will peak at the Democrat Convention.
Look for a rerun of Chicago 1968.
Largely a group of sychophants who repeat what Sundown says. Not much original thought there.

I have nothing to do with the Barr DOJ being unable to decide the prosecute McCabe after 16 months on a non coup related matter. I’m just reviewing the facts at hand. It gives me no pleasure noting the negative nature of most of them.
Barr has got basically an impossible job. Near everyone inside the DOJ building hate POTUS and want nothing to do with supporting his admin. How is Barr supposed to do his job given that? He can’t. That’s why Spygate has become largely a political matter for 2020 and not a criminal one. The issue will be settled at the ballot box by the American people. What’s going on now is Barr is easing the Trump voting GOP base into the reality of the situation. The #1 goal is reelection of Trump, obviously.
Zoomed right over my head
I’ve been “patiently” waiting 16 months for the Barr DOJ to prosecute McCabe for non coup related leaking. How much longer should I plan on waiting? Are you aware there are potentially about 12 months left of the Trump admin?
it seems there have been mistakes made.. some on purpose ,,and yet they cannot find anything to take Trump out.
Rush talked today about how far this goesyet y deep into more than the US, and deals with the highest positions in the world. .. that horowitz, durham, and Barr have a deep pit of corruption to stop, and this deep pit has never been faced before.. and its the new world order.. almost succeeded in the complete take over.
