“A patient’s access to stable housing, transportation, and nutritious food options greatly impacts their long-term health.”

i wonder how many tens of millions of dollars did the study cost that figured that out?

I take issue with the word “access.”
Nobody’s prohibiting the “poor” from getting “access” to nutritious food options.
Are there armed guards at the supermarket door telling them they can’t come in and buy healthy food with their SNAP cards?
They shop in the same grocery stores as non-SNAP customers. In fact, SNAP & WIC enable MORE “access” to healthy food.
An encyclopedic education about healthier choices is no further away than their smart phones.
The operative word here isn’t “access,” it’s “choice.”
