I don’t like socialist countries that are also heavily racist while claiming not to be.

Electricity and utilities , the field it I have been in for many decades ,is a critical one to society and infrastructure

It was interesting to note that even in my very affluent area when PG&E cut power for five days how much it said people into a panic

But of course PG&E is a very competent utility and they just voluntarily shut off power because they were worried about starting

Lfires not because they didn’t have enough megawatts on demand

Two things stood out immediately to me from this article

First of all that they’re just burning coal to make power which is of course the dirtiest fuel possible

Second I know his dad they’re cool somehow got wet because it was raining that is also quite silly

South Africa is running out of not only water but also now electricity this is what happens when you have corrupt socialist types running your government in which almost all African governments are

It takes a lot of knowledge infrastructure fuel and maintenance to maintain a solid and reliable electric grid

we just take it for granted here in the United States of America

the infrastructure built by others (and taken from them) eventually decays and the commies are screwed. Always the same story.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with intelligence of the people who took over the utility.

Sounds like they need a Bolivarian revolution. That always straightens things out.

We all know what’s going on but it’s considered ‘racist’ to actually articulate it.

signaling a deepening crisis at the debt-ridden utility

it is debt-ridden because it is forced by the government and ANC to sell below-cost power to politically important districts and municipalities, who then don't bother to pay the utility for the power anyway.

White man bad!

It’s OK. Wakanda is building a new, wireless power grid for them as we speak...

How can they maintain what they could never could have built in the first place, either the infrastructure or the civil society?

In fact, I recently saw a video where they were actually tearing up paved roads, saying that these roads were a symbolic of the honkies and therefore had to go.
