President Donald Trump will address the two “baseless” impeachment charges Democrats presented on Tuesday during the U.S. Senate trial phase of the proceedings, the White House said. “The President will address these false charges in the Senate and expects to be fully exonerated, because he did nothing wrong,” White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement.

Under the ridiculous “abuse of power” definition, EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT could and should be impeached. when they fail, Congress is going to be made weaker than ever in history.
Don’t the articles have to be voted on in the house first?
If they fail there, the senate won’t deal with them, right?

I would also play the tape of Joe Biden telling Ukraine to fire the prosecutor. Play it a few times.

Just a side note: I have a brother-in-law who is 90 and a life-long, rabid Democrat. In talking with him yesterday, he spontaneously blurted out that he was disgusted with the Democrats and didn’t even, for once, say anything about Trump or Republicans.

The fun part will be the entrance of the witnesses to Hunter and Joe’s deals on the Ukraine leading to a board seat and millions of dollars to a delinquent coke user who didn’t know anything about natural resources or Ukraine.
And some intelligence community coup details that will send Comey,McCabe,Brennan and Clapper to a non extradition treaty place (an island between Mozambique and Madigascar? Republic of Congo?)

I’m betting it doesn’t happen and that Trump will let his legal team do the talking for him. You don’t want Trump there, under oath, being examined by the House prosecutors.
I have a feeling he has more interesting information to reveal than that tv clip everyone has already seen.

I don’t think there will be a Senate trial.
I think a handful of Dems will join the majority of R Senators to vote with Lindsay Graham for dismissal of the charges to prevent Trump from gutting the Democrats, Biden, Pelosi, Romney and Kerry for their Ukrainian dealings.
When is the House Voting ?
Strange things can yet happen. One strongly positive poll result in favor of Trump could scare any quisling RINO or one or two 2020 nervous dems to bolt the Deep State plantation. First things first.. Rats need to get it out of the House.
