That's exactly what the instructor meant and it wasn't meant to be demeaning. In fact, since nicknames are earned/given and not chosen, this was actually a compliment. It meant he stood out because of his "fabulous" mustache.
A very minor thing to be all butt hurt and crazed over; especially when it happened 7 months ago. Then again I've said it many times; Islam and the West are simply incompatible. The cultural divide is not something that can be bridged.

This program needs to be ended OR the candidates for such a program need to undergo an extensive background investigation.
My son had a female superior (not sure if she was an officer) call him porn stache, but he didn’t go postal. He was annoyed obviously since he told me about it. But he went about his business and put up with the nonsense thrown at him daily by this female and others. I’m betting my other son faced some snarky comments from his Marine brothers as well when he grew a moustache. But he survived far worse in boot camp.
