The IG report is expected to be released Monday at 1 PM ET, however sources have told John Solomon that the lies and omissions were so egregious that Attorney General Bill Barr may actually withdraw the FBI’s application for the FISA warrants on Carter Page that began in October of 2016.

Comey is quite simply a pathological liar.
It is my personal opinion that, seeing as how smoothly the FISA misleadings sailed through, with no subsequent uproar from the Court for being misled; the FISA Court was in on the game, and were a cooperating part of the scheme.
If Durham is going back and checking all FISA apps in the past as has been stated, then Comey might well be in for some prison time. Who knows anymore.

Comey’s article had to be pre-written.Would not be surprised if he still has people inside working for him that leaked him some helpful details.
Good point. Another view is that the judge is compromised and had no choice.
My guess is that the FISA Court was told that the Steele dossier was verified. The congressional leadership was told the same thing, which goes a long way to explaining the conduct of the Republicans on the Hill. The media was told the same thing. Total control of information in secret proceedings with no opportunity for cross-examination and refutation is a powerful thing.
No one in the summer and fall of 2016 and early 2017 contemplated that the senior people in the FBI, DOJ and IC were flat-out lying.

This whitewash report is probably designed by nature to defend the fisa court from accusations of corruption. Had to throw some middle management FBI people under the bus to save them from the public perception that they were in on the attempted coup.

It’s just so sad there are no Republicans in the executive or legislative branches of government so we had someone who can do something to address all this.
Maybe next year we can elect a Republican president or get at least one Republican elected to congress.

Not sure when declassified fisa warrants will be used. I would imagine Durham will have to be close to finishing before that, hopefully soon.
More than half of the FBI is partisan hacks. The federal government is 90% DEM.
