That, of course, means only that, of the various people to whom Horowitz spoke, no one flipped, and nothing incriminating was put on paper.
That leads to an extensive discussion of very significant "errors" and "omissions." Amazingly, all of these errors and omissions cut in one direction. All of them supported a course of action that, in retrospect, was illegitimate. But in the absence of explicit documentary or testimonial evidence, Horowitz would not want to conclude that the errors and omissions were coordinated or motivated by anything other than the purest of motives.
So: a coin is flipped 17 times, and comes up heads each time. But we would not want to draw any inferences from that. Errors do happen. In this case, a LOT of errors happened. All the errors were mutually reinforcing in a freakishly coincidental way. Nothing to see here. Move along.

With those blinders on, Horowitz is going to have his head handed to him before Congress in a couple of days. It appears he is saying the Bureau had predication to start a counter intelligence investigation when we know the entire collusion case was a fabricated hoax from the get go. Worse yet, the Bureau continued the charade for years, with some even contending to this day there was collusion. If what Horowitz is claiming is true, why did the Bureau have to make up facts and lie in their affidavits to get the FISA warrants? Once a liberal DS soldier, you never change your strips. Horowitz appears to be just another Mueller.

Well, what have we learned here:
That what a person says about himself cannot be taken as serious. Since all the hatred and planning and secret behavior of the “FBI” was their own actions and words against themselves...it cannot be believed...ask Mr. Horowitz.
However, if you can get someone else to observe you and report on what you say...well, that is solid evidence.

I scrolled through some of the replies here and it seems that none of the posters read Durham’s statement or thought about what it means.
The IG report states that the FBI investigation was triggered by information received from a "friendly" foreign ally, and the FBI was justified in relying on the information:
As we describe in Chapter Three, the FBI opened Crossfire Hurricane on July 31, 2016, just days after its receipt of information from a Friendly Foreign Government (FFG) reporting that, in May 2016, during a meeting with the FFG, then Trump campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos "suggested the Trump team had received some kind of suggestion from Russia that it could assist this process with the anonymous release of information during the campaign that would be damaging to Mrs. Clinton (and President Obama)." The FBI Electronic Communication (EC) opening the Crossfire Hurricane investigation stated that, based on the FFG information, "this investigation is being opened to determine whether individual(s) associated with the Trump campaign are witting of and/or coordinating activities with the Government of Russia." We did not find information in FBI or Department ECs, emails, or other documents, or through witness testimony, indicating that any information other than the FFG information was relied upon to predicate the opening of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
Barr and Durham have been investigating that friendly (as in "friendly to Hillary") foreign source and they have probably found that the information given to the FBI was effectively produced and delivered to them by another part of the US government (likely the CIA).
The IG process reminds me of the 360 degree annual review process where you are asked to provide feedback on your peers and your managers performance.

IG report will provide, hopefully, factual specific info.
Matters not how the report “interprets” it.

Cause anyone outside DOJ doesn’t have to
I ran into a person I have known for years about 2 months ago. How shall I say this, they work in the same area, maybe my acquaintance is more boots on the ground shall we say.
However our discussion was all over the politcal spectrum. But we got onto FISA etc, So I asked him, do you know John Durham? His face said it all, a small genuine smile and said: “Yes we’ve done some work together”. I smiled and noted I am sure I won’t know what it was, and asked is his persona of being quite but hard working the real deal? “Oh ya” and do you like him, unequivocal “Yes, nice guy”.
I know this is anecdotal but FWIW, I am quitely reassured, I trust this guy to kick ass because it is the right thing to do.
