No, I Don’t Wish Trump Would Stop Tweeting

When speaking to Republicans casually about news and politics, the conversation eventually winds its way to President Trump. The dialogue is typically civil, unlike when trying to talk to hard left Democrats about politics, which is about as satisfying as having a root canal.

These Republicans I speak of are the Bush-Romney wing of the party, faithful readers of the Wall Street Journal, and I’ll admit a group I was part of back when the last Bush was in the White House. I thought that was the best the Republican Party could do. It was certainly better than the alternatives at the time of a President Gore or Kerry.

Then again, at one time a Casio wristwatch with a built-in stopwatch and timer was pretty slick, as was a flip phone which fit in my shirt pocket. This was long before the Apple watch or iPhone. At that point in time we didn’t know what wonders the future held.

Politically this is where Donald Trump fits in. Who knew during the Bush years that a president could actually push back against the media and his political detractors? Could a GOP president actually answer his critics rather than stay mum for eight years with the only defense being, as Bush promised, “Ultimately history will judge.”

George W. Bush got his wish and as the years go by, the judgement has not been kind, with many conservatives lumping the past four presidents, two Bushes, a Clinton, and an Obama, together as different heads of the same deep state snake.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That’s because they were all dedicated to the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) intentionally flooding the country with fraudulently documented foreigners with the intent of stealing the country from the citizens against their will.
I agree that he should continue the Tweets. It’s the best way to keep us informed and entertained. I love his tweets.
Yup. It started with GHW Bush, who tried to veer away from, if not undo, the Reagan presidency.
Since that time, it's been a steady kabuki, but with the onward progress of throwing chains on and impoverishing the American people.
I could understand that he took it while he was president. I wished though he had taken revenge against them after he was out of office.
I wish we lived in a nation where any not-left-wing president could do his job quietly and with dignity and survive. The left and their lapdogs in the media have made that impossible. Trump is the result of that.
That's unfair to root canals. My root canal was one of the best things I've ever had done. Pain that had been present for years was suddenly gone, and only when it was gone did I realize just how bad it had been.
I think I'd compare it to something like trying to pull out Bermuda grass. No matter how much you pull out, the stuff grows back, and quickly. That's like the left: no matter how much you hit them with facts, they come up with a new set of lies in no time at all.
That is the fallacy that too many normal people fall for. Arguing facts with leftists is like the proverbial chess game with a pigeon - facts mean nothing to them, only winning the shouting match matters. The only sane response is a stiff middle finger and/or a right to the jaw.
With his Tweets we get exactly what he says. If he spoke to the MSM, things would get twisted.
