Anyone's guess, but it's beginning to seem odd that there's been no news about what sort of victims were targeted, if it was random, or what. Since it's supposed to have happened in a classroom, I guess there would have been several nationalities present, as well as American instructors.

takes place in their country. And that's where they are
going to be flying all of those America aircraft they've
purchased anyway.

Actually, my experience running IMET programs, almost 100% of those that “disappear” were disappearing because they love living the debased life here in the US (women, drink, nice weather, freedom, etc).
Now they disappear for the same reasons as before but now there are real dangers we must protect against.
Yes, we have guys in Saudi doing training. . .we have contractors doing that training. I was head-hunted by a contractor to go to Saudi and make the Big Bucks teaching them to fly F-15s that they own. This was before 9-1-1.
Spent too much time over there to go back no matter how much they paid me.
Basic flight training is usually done in the US. . .as far as I can tell, they simply don’t want to spend the bucks to set-up their own pilot training base. . .
Who was the State Department deep-stater that maybe wanted this to happen?
And please note, Trump NEVER bowed to the Saudi’s like Obama did.
