What is "Protect Democracy?"

"Protect Democracy was founded in early 2017 by a group of former high-level executive branch officials who served in the White House Counsel’s Office and upper-echelons of the Department of Justice and have unique knowledge of the norms that have constrained presidential power for decades and when those in power may be tempted to violate them. As many of us defended past presidents against legitimate oversight and illegitimate attacks, we also know how to leverage tools outside government to prevent the exploitation of power within it."

Fact check me on this, but I seem to remember The Usual Suspects writing a similar letter during the impeachment wars of 1998-99 absolving Rapin Bill Clinton of his CLEAR felonies.

Most lawyers are liberals.

This is as worthless as saying 500 journalist think Trump committed impeachable offenses.

What a yawn.

Agreed. And I guarantee that I could go through the yellow pages and find at least 500 law professors that say he didn’t.

University professors are uniformly liberal. We may thank the monied interests (e.g., NWO, Deep State, 13-families, particularly Rockefellers) that have supported major "educational" (read: indoctrination) institutions of higher learning.

As of the fall of 2017, U.S. law schools employed 10,232 full-time faculty and 17,021 part-time faculty.

So in other words, 400/27253 or 1.4% of all law school teachers...

500 collectivist interpreters of leftist perspective of law spewing forth a choreographed message from their masters with intent to demoralize their opposition. Just another dirty trick from the leftist/Democrat bag of dirty tricks.

Law professors are even worse, being not only usually super liberal but often also drawn or forced to academia by a lack of real-world skills or ability as a workaday lawyer.

How many of these people also advocate for a “living constitution,” eliminate the electoral college, climate change (green new deal), globalism, open borders, amnesty, unlimited immigration, free health care for all, free college for all, gun control (including confiscation), abortion on demand (right up to and even after birth), 57 genders, tax the rich (confiscate their wealth) to ‘pay for’ big government socialism, etc., etc., etc.?
