All we had to do was leave Saddam Hussein alone and he would have kept Iran in check. But oh no, the genius Bush decided to in effect empower Iran.

Yep. And it’s also worth noting that both ISIS and the Syrian rebels operated out of western Iraq. No way would Saddam have allowed that. So if Bush would have left Saddam alone:

1. Iran would have been contained.
2. No ISIS.
3. No Syrian civil war.
4. No mass exodus of “Syrian refugees” into Europe.

And that list doesn’t even consider the blood and treasure loss. My conclusion: W was the worst foreign policy president in US history.
