Rep. Al Green (D-TX) said he hopes House Democrats will be able to impeach President Trump on a wide variety of issues because there is no limit to how many times they can impeach a president.
"My hope is that we will expand this and take up additional issues. But I would also say this for your viewers for education purposes, a president can be impeached more than once. So we can do this. We can move forward with what we have on the table currently. We can take this before the Senate and we can still investigate other issues and when the president has committed additional offenses, and my suspicion is that he will, we can take those before the Senate," Green told CSPAN on Thursday.
"There is no limit on the number on the times the Senate can vote to convict or not a president. No limit to the number of times a House can vote to impeach or not a president. So my belief is that the Speaker will probably say we are going to move forward with what we have now, but we are not going to end investigations and that there may be possible opportunities to do other things at a later time."
There has been a debate among House Democrats if they should include other items outside of Trump's phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in their articles for impeachment.
Green defended the time and political consumption of impeachment, saying the House of Representatives can pass other bills.
"Now the Senate is not engaged in the impeachment process currently but the Senate is blocking all of this legislation that we’ve sent," he said.

That’s actually good news. With each passing day, this venture is becoming a diminishing-returns albatross for the dems, as Americans become fed up with their antics.
Yes, Mr. Green, there is a limit to how many times Democrats can impeach President Trump, and you’re on the verge of discovering just how that mechanism works.
Keep it up. See how many times you can impeach once you lose your House majority.
How close we are to an actual conflict is unknown...but the feel and the anger in the country suggest that we are much closer than we were even this past summer.
The abuse of power by the Democrat Congress is so extreme - unprecedented in our national history - that one simply cannot imagine anything that they would stop at, anything that would be beyond the pale, any travesty or outrage that they would not force upon their political opponents...and the people. And with that, the only solution - the ONLY solution - is to forcibly remove them from power and position. Totalitarians willing to engage in any outrage - to rewrite any law at their own whim - can only be eliminated by force. That is where we are today with our nominal “countrymen”.
This cannot stand and the bloodshed that will correct it is inevitable as the only other outcome is complete subjugation to the dictators.

I was in her district in SF, and the woman downstairs from me had a neighborhood meeting with her. I asked something about taxing me to fund others to have illegitimate children when I couldn't afford my own. The answer was that she just didn't care.
It was, by the way, the beginning of the end of that great city and that great state.
A simple search of the interent tells one that statement is incredibly true. Did you all realize...REALIZE they have been talking impeachment of President Donald Trump since before he won office?
Just a quick look at the articles cited over on their wikipedia and you find talk of impeachment and investigation going back as far as 2015. It’s all put out there like some prideful child listing the bad habits of their sister. Just take a peek at what’s listed there! It’s no longer hidden, they are not ashamed of what they’ve done and are doing.
As I listened to an angry Rush Limbaugh today...all I could think about was how to get these treasonous, hate-filled, evil bastards out of office. But then we still have several generations who don’t remotely comprehend that there is a massive problem within the democrat party. We’d have to deal with that matter too.
And Thomas Payne was the only thing that came to mind. And I think it’s time. The talking really did stop back in 2015, when the DNC decided no matter what...President Trump would be impeached.
President Trump has to be the greatest President in history. When one looks at the list, a very dark feeling accompanies it. And a feeling of great admiration for one man facing the biggest storm in American history since...the revolution or civil war.

And I just posted the historical record their bragging about over on wikipedia...I don’t think many of us even have begun to realize they’ve been laying a trap of impeachment for President Trump since 2015.
Before he ever even was nominated, they feared him.
Even if he wins 2020, it will take a military intervention to secure our general welfare. But we’re really close to deciding that if there must be trouble in our time...bring it now...so our children can have peace.

The country has a very bad “feel” to it right now. I see it in what has become outright anger in my own circles - anger that is at least matched by those in my own extended family who are amongst the crazies on the other side.
I think what’s dawning is that what we’ve always thought were political opponents are much more than that...and they’ll take it to any level to get their way. There’s a real crumbling away of civic life in this country right now. There is no meeting of the minds or agreement on any level. And our enemy keeps pushing and pushing...forcing us into something against our will.
This is why it is imperative can’t stress it enough imperative to vote these bastards out our office!
What the RNC desperately needs is a NEW chairperson with BALLS , WHO IS NOT RELATED TO Pierre!!! McDaniels has been a total failure! Who elects the chairperson? MCDANIELS NEEDS TO BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY..she has failed the base! Can any republican run for that position?
