Back in the old days, abortion enthusiasts used to say that killing a baby should be "safe, legal, and rare." The idea was that abortion should be a last resort. They didn't want to seem too bloodthirsty, but they still wanted to keep the door open in case you really, really need that kid dead.
Well, forget about all that. The ruse is over. The veil has been torn away. Now the 2nd-place contender in the Democratic Party's 2020 presidential race is flatly calling for abortion on demand, and he's even citing the United States Constitution to back him up.
I admit, I'm not a constitutional scholar like Bernie obviously is. But I guess he's talking about the 14th Amendment? People who really, really hate babies have argued that making a woman bring a child to term is depriving her of liberty without due process. Of course, killing the baby undoubtedly deprives the baby of liberty, which is why abortion freaks vehemently insist it's not actually a human being. It's just a "fetus." Which is another word for "baby." If they admit to themselves that they're killing a person, if they concede to reality, it destroys their whole argument.

Last time I checked, the 14th spoke about LIFE. I don’t recall anything about ripping babies’ limbs off and murdering them.

Misguided Sen. Sanders seems to be clueless that, in stark contrast to the rights that the Founding States expressly protected in the Bill of Rights and other rights that the states have likewise protected, the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect murdering unborn children as a right.
In other words, the so-called “right” to have an abortion was scandalously legislated from the bench by pro-abortion activist justices imo, the will of the Article V sovereign state majority be damned.
Lawless, post-17th Amendment ratification career Democrats and RINOs then began using the Court's politically correct “right” to have an abortion to exploit low-information voters imo, such lawmakers getting themselves reelected with the constitutionally indefensible promise of federal funding for abortions.

Patriots need to elect new patriot lawmakers in the 2020 elections who will not only promise to fully support PDJT’s already excellent work for MAGA, now KAG, but will also do this.
New patriot lawmakers also need to promise to surrender state powers that Congress has been stealing from the states back to the states.
And to make such changes permanent, patriots need to further support PDJT in leading the states to repeal the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.

I’m waiting for day Democrats say a late-term abortion includes offing your kid up to age 18. After that, the kid is OK as he is on the voting rolls.
The Constitution acclaims life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as fundamental to citizenship. Abortion is anti life. Abortion is never happy. Abortion ends the potential for liberty to the aborted child.
Abortion is a fundamental act of evil. It is sin. It is a violation of humane civilization.
As now regulated by Federal law, it is a criminal act punishable by imprisonment to pull the legs off a living rat. Is a rat worth more than a baby in the womb? How, then, is it legal, much less humane, to tear the limbs off of a baby in the womb?
Forget the 14th Amendment. It is superceded by the 10th Amendment which is specific. Read it for yourself:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
