I linked the NYP Post article, but I watched the full 9-minute video on YouTube. It’s worse than the excerpt at the link I posted.
Look at this officer’s arms. I don’t care if you’re a man or a woman. If those are your arms the only thing you should ever try to put into custody is your next jelly donut.

The thing of it is, and this is just my opinion, when someone refuses to cooperate over a small thing, it's a sure sign there's something going on that's going to make the confrontation more difficult than otherwise.

This line of abuse of authority and disrespect for the badge I say they shoulda just shot every one in the house, but they probaly were asleep during that part of training.
That woman should never have made it past meter maid. Horrible. She is the type that give cops a bad name. Thank goodness for body cams.
This is a testimonial to WHY women should not be STREET cops.
I predict that one day there will be few, if any, women attempting to be a street cop. She is truly lucky she wasn’t killed and if the woman she shot does not die she is TWICE lucky!
I imagine too that scenes like this play out daily somewhere and this one we just happen to get to see before someone covered it up.
I’m no cop but it seems to me she lost control of the situation right from the start. She should have retreated until a capable officer arrived on scene.

That female officer apparently has had no training on subduing a suspect! Outrageous that she would grab for her gun instead of a taser or some other nonlethal means to get him under control. The guy doesn’t appear to be armed That’s just crazy!!
Yep, sorry excuse for a cop. Simply not physically or mentally qualified for the job. Should be fired.
Now I’m not a cop but after listening to the guy I firmly believe that he suffers from some degree of autism and couldn’t comprehend what was going on. The female LEO should have seen that and taken a different tact.......I could be wrong since it’s easy to make a judgment while not being in the LEO’s shoes.

Female officer never should have been given a badge. She confronts a suspect who is obviously not rational (whether drunk or drugs, no idea), but not initially violent.
Instead of just keeping things calm until support arrived, she escalates things until she sees that this guy is MUCH stronger than her. She reacts to this by drawing her pistol, and winds up shooting bystander.
The deputy did not violate department policy, according to the sheriff’s office.

We’ll see as times wears on as to how this all works out. Facts
and court cases may well differ as they progress.
South Carolina needs to adopt recent laws regarding shoplifting. In Suffolk County, Massachusetts, if you need it, you can shoplift it with no penalty.
Same in California, but you’re limited to $950 value. (Prop 47).

For every female officer there has to be a male backup. Which means more police officers on the payroll and pensions.
One thing I’ll agree with the kid on, especially after seeing her arms and hearing the screaming, he is stronger than the officer.
A woman has got to know her limitations.
And just two days ago you said 10+ years...
