Shock: Adam Schiff Investigated Devin Nunes’s Phone Records
Breitbart ^ | 3 December 2019 | JOEL B. POLLAK

Posted on 12/03/2019 3:16:45 PM PST by Magnatron

House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) investigated Ranking Member Devin Nunes (D-CA) as part of his impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, the committee report revealed on Tuesday.

The revelation that Schiff had obtained telephone records related to Nunes was the only new revelation in the report, which otherwise re-hashed Democrats’ arguments in favor of impeaching Trump for allegedly asking Ukraine to interfere in the 2020 election.

In a press conference Tuesday afternoon, Schiff declined to say when the committee had obtained the records, but given the Democrats’ repeated questions during the inquiry about administration officials who had worked with Nunes, such as former Intelligence Committee staffer (now National Security Council official) Kash Patel, it is likely the Democrats sought those records before or during the hearings.

The report cites media reports that Lev Parnas, an associate of Rudy Giuliani who has ben indicted on campaign finance charges, claimed that Nunes tried to meet with Ukrainians to “dig up dirt” on former Vice President Joe Biden. (Nunes had threatened to sue those media outlets, and did so on Tuesday, suing CNN for defamation; he does not appear to have been given an opportunity to answer the allegations in the report.)

You missed his point. He is simply pointing out that the article is listing (D-CA) after Nunes name.

Well, we shall see. I always enjoy your posts since they are typically rational and fact based.

As for the media and the 1A, it just goes to show how powerful some men are when they are allowed to interpret plain meaning. For the 1A, we have the most expansive standard, whereas for the 2A, the most restrictive.

So, we cannot rely on institutions to make determinations for "the people" if they have become so corrupt as to violate every principle of good government.

And thus, back on my soap box, where I keep saying that this will come down to force - whether will (power) or arms. 100 years of corruption cannot be reversed by simple electoral methods - the rot is too deep. So, why does't Trump call out the militia? And that is the real crux, because Trump has calculated he would lose such a parry.

If the MIC is so thoroughly deep state, then this game was over long before it started. It would explain the complete disdain and hubris demonstrated by all players in the House, DOJ, State, CIA, FBI, and others, knowing they have the ultimate backstop.

“Did you miss the (D-CA) after his name ...?”

Oops... 🤭 Yep, I sure did miss that part. Apparently, I haven’t been paying attention...

Apologies for my mistaken chastisement of the FReeper I addressed in my earlier post...🤗

“...but after President Trump wins re-election,...”

Take it to the bank that the deep state, knowing that they can’t legitimately win in 2020 will/is doing whatever it will take to steal this election. Satan does not sleep.

Do not take Trump’s re-election for granted.

Don’t be surprised to see Hillary get in the race and on election night...SHAZAM! Pull off a dramatic come from behind victory.

The ONLY way this is prevented is for good Americans to get on their knees and pray to God to allow Trump to have four more years to do God’s work and continue exposing the evil that has permeated our government.

Are you for real?

I have quite a few ancestors that fought in CWI

Your whole missive seems to me to not engage reality at all.

Congress has subpoena power without being subject to court scrutiny, UNLESS challenged.

AT&T and other telcoms have billions and billions of reasons to not want to piss off Congress.

But I believe Nunes can still sue over a subpoena not properly predicated.

Still, this is an OUTRAGEOUS abuse and a bridge too far. By seeking only phone records (but if they did this, probably all digital records) they declare this was not done for criminal purposes, properly predicated, but for POLITICAL reasons alone.

Democrats are fully invested now. If Trump is reelected, the DOJ will deliver payback on a scale never seen before. And they may be dusting off those weapons right now.

OF NOTE: Anything the House can do, the Senate can do!

The chess player in me, makes me think that instead of force— which might have to be used to stop someone running out of country (and we have no way of knowing the surveill tasking— not by the usual customers, fibbies, postal inspectors whatever- but the DIA which are empowered, as are mil intel that are deputized under our current War on Terror statutory conditions. The ones Kavanaugh was questioned about by Lindsey Graham, of all people in his confirmation hearing.) Folks don’t seem to know that our military CID has jurisdiction if so deputized— within the US and... outside. And our DOJ has such people (not fbi, others). So, you may be right about “force” being needed to be applied.

Personally, would love to read a retrospective of the Marshals paying Brennan a visit and with the cuffs on him. Schiff as well and that (i’m convinced) neo-nazi Swallwell (remember him calling Tucker a Russian stooge- live on his show- Tucker kicked him off the show during a break. this seems like a furtive cabal of WeHo queer males and.. worse).

What I said went right past you.

Those on the right have principles: they are sensitive to hypocrisy, and can be enjoined or manipulated by pointed out their inconsistency.

The only thing leftists care about is power: and if they have to lie, then lie about whether they were lying, then change to the exact opposite lie the next day, they don't care.

The only thing that matters is "how does this position my to implement my goal for power?"

My wife and I have been discussing this for quite some time. If the sun were to suddenly super nova, I would not be surprised. God must be fed up with mankind.

You do know that the left says the exact thing about the right, right? Your complete comment - changing only the labels - could be posted on any proglib social media site and receive hundreds/thousands of upvotes:

But go ahead, continue to be smug in your self assessment. I guess it's a common trait among Q followers.

I know that every day that He DOESN’T say “ENOUGH” is another day of His unmerited GRACE being given to this present evil world. The inner man gets that. But the outer man is just begging for His righteous judgement to fall on these evil workers. It’s a conundrum for sure.
