WASHINGTON — In early November, a few days after Senator Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign announced widespread layoffs and an intensified focus on Iowa, her senior aides gathered for a staff meeting at their Baltimore headquarters and pelted the campaign manager, Juan Rodriguez, with questions.
What exactly was Ms. Harris’s new strategy? How much money and manpower could they put into Iowa? What would their presence be like in other early voting states?

Mr. Rodriguez offered general, tentative answers that didn’t satisfy the room, according to two campaign officials directly familiar with the conversation. Some Harris aides sitting at the table could barely suppress their fury about what they saw as the undoing of a once-promising campaign. Their feelings were reflected days later by Kelly Mehlenbacher, the state operations director, in a blistering resignation letter obtained by The Times.

Unraveled? It was DOA. She is an anchor baby, not A natural born citizen, she is not African-American, her background does not match her rhetoric, and while she slept her way into past positions, she cannot do that for the presidency.

Well, that worked for her when she was in California and Willie Brown gave her special favors for doing JUST that very thing. So, you can imagine her confusion.

Her campaign started raveled.
Easy, they hitched their wagon to a lousy candidate, in the first place. Identitiy politics has blinded these morons to the point that they nominate a gender, color, or sexual deviation. No substance.
She tried to pass as a genuine Black, down with the struggle. She’s a child of privilege and a phony.
Be yourself: a self/delusional person with no talent who thinks she can be president.
She is a nasty ho, Jim.
She should hire someone with a MAGA hat to tackle her and pummel her. Jussie could bring that campaign right back to the top.
How Kamala’s campaign unraveled: it all started when Kamala was chosen as the candidate for Kamala’s campaign. Unctuous, whiny, affirmative action baby had no business being elevated to CA AG or the US Senate, let alone run for President.
Seriously. Who gives a schiff? I don’t.
Why does every junior senator think they can be President? Obama was a special case who had plenty of deep state backing, and some rhetorical talent. Being a labeled person is not enough anymore. Obama broke that taboo and half the country hated his presidency. They need to build their own brand and stop being so hateful to the current President and all his supporters. Willie Brown doesn’t have enough stroke to put Harris in the Oval Office.
Maybe she’s just not that good. Willie couldn’t be all that picky.
She had a campaign?
Her Dad practically disowned her early on in the campaign. That didn’t bode well for eventual success.
