While it is a great honor to host POTUS at a military base, it has to be a PITA. Could be the guy got notice a short time before that Trump was coming and was stressed by all the arrangements that had to be made. And if something goes wrong his career could be over.
Trump does indeed have a lot of drive and energy for a man his age.
