President Trump surprised American troops in Afghanistan on Thanksgiving.
He visited Bagram air base on Thursday, delivering Thanksgiving greetings to U.S. troops deployed there in America’s longest-running war.

I guess they picked it up somewhere...I was just sneaking around on DU and you wouldn’t believe the amount of butthurt going on over there regarding this story. Not for the faint of heart, but amusing nonetheless. Reading some of the comments...sigh. What a bunch of hate-filled losers. Can only hang around for about 2 minutes then have to jump back over here for some reality. God Bless President Trump and if you’re the praying kind...please pray for him and his safety. Let’s never underestimate how much he is despised.

President Trump landed back at Palm Beach International Airport from Afghanistan, where he visited the U.S. troops for Thanksgiving..... His total trip lasted 33 hours, with 3,5 hrs spent on the ground at Bagram Airfield
An earlier photo shows a guy with the name tag of Raugh and the rank of colonel. Like the majority of today’s field grade officers, he’s likely hard left and would be a willing member of the “resistance”. He’s a budding general officer.
There’s probably a story there. But if I noticed from a still shot, you can bet President Trump did. Maybe the guy had been up for 48 hours or something that made him very tense.
While it is a great honor to host POTUS at a military base, it has to be a PITA. Could be the guy got notice a short time before that Trump was coming and was stressed by all the arrangements that had to be made. And if something goes wrong his career could be over.
