And so it begins ...
Training people defense skills for use in the event of civil disorder is illegal?
So every martial arts school, boxing gym, and karate dojo is going to close?
That act would pretty much make Confederate re-enactment units illegal
there is a lot of intent that needs to be proven in this.
but there is a need for a well regulated militia.
Maybe. It appears that that may be the case. The bill is so broadly worded.
Poof, there goes that pesky freedom of assembly right in the Constitution.

This is what the people of Northern Virginia, the Enlightened Ones, voted for and will impose on the rest of the Commonwealth. I think it’s awesome.
Every county in Central and Western Virginia should be, first, meeting with officials from West Virginia and Kentucky, to talk about seceding and becoming part of either state.
Second, start drafting the documents to do so. I truly feel bad for the sane folks in Virginia, but that state is about to get turned on its head like no one has ever seen.
The 3 new DAs in the NoVa area are such radical Leftists, that they beat out other Democrats. And the ones that were there were pretty darn liberal. The state is on its way to becoming a war zone. Shame. Western Virginia is absolutely gorgeous.
Is “the militia” paramilitary?
Are gangs paramilitary?
Why didn’t they just outlaw anti-fa.
Didn’t the British do this a long time ago. So now you can’t associate with other firearms owners and talk about guns, survival tactics, just anything the Virginia legislature doesn’t like. These shitheads are an illegal assembly themselves.
No more firearms instructors. Did they put an exemption in there for the police? Funny how, in their rush to pass these ridiculous bills, they always seem to forget to exempt law enforcement. I don’t agree with any exemptions, at all. We should have the same things they do. But, I think it’s interesting that if they could, they’d restrict everyone, including police.
That was exactly my thought.
Antifa is the new Klan. They’re the new terrorism arm of the U.S. DemoKKKrat Party. Governor “Coonman” Northam probably has an office in the State Capital for them.
Except Antifa will never be prosecuted.
Bill is intentionally broadly worded and vague so they can paint anyone they want with a really broad brush. Everything about the bill is a catch-all. If it was more specific, someone could easily modify their actions so as not to violate the provisions of the law. Now, they can basically make sh*t up on you.
I guess preppers will be considered as felons (once convicted, of course.)
How is that?
They do need to have the King's troops shut down those armories in Lexington and Concord, though. Nobody needs an assault musket for deer hunting.
