If the Senate is "tied up" with an impeachment trial, then they supposedly couldn't have the time to consent to a Trump nomination. This would get them through January by which time Trump would have less than a year to go and there would be a MSM furor about a lame duck appointment such as never has been seen before,

Thanksgiving dinner at many US households should be a hoot to seethes year, especially where college kids in attendance. I remember my family dinners in the early 70’s where my liberal brothers home from college and their BS girlfriends talking about the war in Nam and Nixon. LBJ was gone so Nixon was convenient. As it turned out, the much-awaited hearings had exactly the opposite effect than Democrats hoped.
Like everything else they do they have no idea how to help the country they think Hitler had the right idea.
And like Hitler they blame the people for not making it work.
For three years the democrats have been looking for an impeachable offense to throw Trump out of office. Where is the rush?
