Politico: Obama ‘Deeply Skeptical’ of Pete Buttigieg and Most Other 2020 Democrats
Breitbart ^ | 11/26/2019 | Penny Starr

In a lengthy profile of former President Barack Obama about what role the “most popular Democrat in America” would play in the 2020 presidential race, Politico’s Ryan Lizza shares what Obama and his advisers think of the candidates. Two of the candidates seem to be the ones whose campaign promises imply Obama didn’t do enough to advance progressivism while in office — Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT):

Publicly, he has been clear that he won’t intervene in the primary for or against a candidate, unless he believed there was some egregious attack. “I can’t even imagine with this field how bad it would have to be for him to say something,” said a close adviser. Instead, he sees his role as providing guardrails to keep the process from getting too ugly and to unite the party when the nominee is clear. There is one potential exception: Back when Sanders seemed like more of a threat than he does now, Obama said privately that if Bernie were running away with the nomination, Obama would speak up to stop him. (Asked about that, a spokesperson for Obama pointed out that Obama rece

This concerns me. Not because Michelle is any good, but because I don’t trust or respect the current crop of voters in this country.

I don’t know if people know Michelle well enough to vote for her for President. But I guess the media made sure we did not know Barack well enough. No vetting.

I wouldn't have agreed a few months ago, but now I tend to agree. Barack himself would not be accepted by the democrat party based on policy alone. Bill Clinton would have to run as a conservative alt-right wacko third-party candidate based on the leftward drift of the current crop of leftists in the current democrat field.

The current democrats are so left of Stalin, it's embarrassing (for them).

Yes, he should, but it won’t happen because BOTH parties cooperated to help him violate the Constitution.

Tucker Carlson had a segment last night on the possibility of Michelle being the Democrat nominee.

I hope that doesn't happen--she would be hard to run against because telling the truth would be denounced as racist and sexist and the media would be trying to convince the voters that the Obama years were a golden age which we need to return to.

Running for President is hard work so I am hopeful she will decide to stay out of the race.

If Moochelle runs — doubtful (and choose your pronoun) — as soon as she is challenged she’ll fall apart.

She’s a snowflake. Will melt quickly.

“She’s a snowflake. Will melt quickly.”

I don’t understand these Michelle predictions. She is not a politician, not even close. She didn’t even like being first lady. No way she runs.
