The Democrats’ tireless effort to remove President Trump from office via impeachment will fail. That much, along with death and taxes, is certain. There is no longer a question as to whether the Democrats will lose in their quest to upend 2016, the only remaining unknowns are where, when, and how badly. And, of course, who is to take the blame? If the buzz around Washington is to be believed, it’s Adam Schiff.

I’d like to see Schiff giving over all his salary now and forever to repay the American people for the millions of taxpayer dollars he has wasted, the hours of Trump’s time he has wasted, and the legal fees which have been needlessly paid for his complete nonsense. Joke’s on you, Schiffidiot.

I really find it unbelievable how much the man lies, how completely unabashed he is about it and what’s the most difficult to comprehend, how he continues to get away with it with seeming impunity.

Somehow the WSJ portrays this as a need for Trump to "move quickly" as if this is a dodgy or unusual sort of undertaking. But other than the decision to grant the stay pending appeal, there is nothing unusual in that, and if Trump's legal team were any good they would already have the petition largely drafted.

I have trouble believing it, but I’ve heard from people who know Jerrold Nadler personally that he actually is opposed to the impeachment but has been playing his part to keep in favor with House dem leadership. His would be a powerful knife into Schiff.

Those around him can resign on principal but these people live for politics. Nancy’s old enough to do a profile in courage but she’d rather take the risk and oversee her party destroyed.
