Unless you are going to President Donald Trump’s rally Tuesday, stay away from the BB&T Center.
Sunrise is expecting heavy traffic near the arena and the nearby Sawgrass Mills mall with “tens of thousands” of people expected to attend, according to an advisory issued by the city. The Sawgrass Expressway near the arena will be closed to commercial trucks during the afternoon rush hour, and drivers can expect significant delays with traffic being merged into one lane, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Traffic is expected to be heavy throughout the day with the arena parking lot opening at 7 a.m., and the arena’s doors opening to Trump fans at 3 p.m..
“Frankly, we have never had a campaign event like this at the BB&T,” Sunrise Mayor Michael Ryan said. “To be sure, we have had other events, even then-candidate Trump in 2016. However, this will be, from all indications, unprecedented."

Wiki says they got nearly 38K in there for 2 nights in a row for U2 back in 2001. Madonna and Bahbra brought in around 32K. That must have included said rafters and total floor coverage.

It is amazing...the Trump campaign could have Campaign Rallied up north in “The Villages” or Northwest Florida where there are hundreds of thousands of Trump Republican Conservatives...but, Trump chose to go right into the heart and soul of the “Scum & Vermin”, “Butt Wipe”, Democrat Party cesspool of Broward County, Florida...the county where Democrat, Congress Critter, LOW LIFE, Debbie Wassermann Schultz and her useless, lap dog, now fired, disgraced Democrat Sheriff, “Butt WIPE”, Scott Israel allowed the slaughter of innocent high school children and teachers in a Plantation, Florida high school!!!
Every time I see the picture of “slaughtered, beautiful, young, Melody Pollack, and I see her in agony fine dad,...I cry openly...that these Democrats & the FBI stood by and let this maniac run loose...unabated to slaughter unprotected innocents!!! I hope Trump gets tens of thousands of supporters to turn out for his rally this evening in disgusting Broward County!!!
Trump is throwing down his marker in the middle of enemy territory, counting on the fact that his supporters will massively turn out today and fill the BB&T Center Arena to its rafters...clearly demonstrating that he intends to go for every single vote in Florida. Trump clearly remembers that Broward County gave him about 290,000 votes in 2016, even though Hillary Clinton easily carried Broward county in 2016.
Trump is interested in carrying the entire state of Florida and, if he keeps his Broward county Trumpers energized, he will carry Florida with his eyes closed!! His advantage is that all of Florida will be present in that arena today...as well as good numbers of Trumpers from both Georgia & Alabama. It should be quite the rally to watch this evening.
The rally is being held in the BB&T Center Arena (Capacity, 21,000), Sunrise Florida, Commencing at 7:00 PM (EST), this evening November 26th, 2019. Doors open at 3:00 PM (EST)!!! Get there early...folks!!!

I wonder if President Trump will ever upsize his venue’s even more, like a Marlins Park that hold 35,000. It would be the only time that stadium has been full in years.

Up early and didn’t need the alarm to get me up since I am so excited about the Rally. Just having some coffee now and then in a little bit off to the Rally venue.
Which is just a few blocks west of me.
Some of the people are messed up as they are everywhere but overall there are a lot of fun things to do in this county. Even just a visit to the Swap Shop can be interesting.

It’s MEADOW Pollack and the school, Marjory Stoneman Douglas, is in Parkland, not Plantation. About a 20-mile difference.
Hoping that Andrew might get on stage, but I think he moved out of Florida. I was an acquaintance of his before this all happened.
I live in Saint Lucie County about an hour and a half north of Sunrise.
Here the super of elections is a hard core dem and about as corrupt as one can get.
My Father and I went to the Montoursville rally back in May. We had a 1 1/2 hour drive to get there. We left 6:30 am, and managed to get 25’-30’ from President Trump. Of course the Montoursville rally was a standing rally for anyone without a physical disability.
