A second leak of secret Chinese Communist Party (CCP) documents has revealed details of how over one million detainees in China are indoctrinated, controlled and punished in a huge network of internment camps.
The papers, dated to 2017 and leaked to the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), have been dubbed The China Cables and feature instructions to “never allow escapes” from the camps. The venues, which in 2018 Beijing claimed did not exist then said were education centres, are populated mainly by Muslim members of ethnic minorities who have not been charged with crimes.
The leak came a week after a different trove of CCP documents related to China’s Muslim crackdown was revealed. Both caches provide evidence that the CCP is orchestrating a widespread campaign of brainwashing and human rights abuse against Muslims, mainly in the country’s vast western Xinjiang province.

Islam cannot be peaceful. It’s against their religion.
That being said, I disagree with the Chinese methods of doing so, but at least they recognize that Islam is a threat.
Let the Islamic countries deal with this. We need to deal with the oppression of Christians in China.
I understand that Chinese leadership understands the real Islamic threat. Camps are less drastic than genocide (genocide being the only method in the past that has successfully removed islam from a nation).
If, however, the reports of organ harvesting are true; I condemn that.
War against an aggressor is one thing. Killing for profit is pure evil (planned parenthood).

Wrong, this effort is part of a much broader effort to subordinate all religion to the the Chinese Communist Party. They have cooperated the Pope to allow them veto power over the official Catholic heirarchy, mandated Chairman Xi’s picture in all official churches, and are trying crush house churches.
Any group or organization outside the Party’s control. Simply put, Christians, Muslims or any other faith, will bend the knee to the Party.
Military efforts, particularly ours, are not the right tool, but we need to make it clear to all that the Party is hell bent on supplanting any faith but that of themselves.
One more reason we don’t want to elect commies or ‘commieLites here...

One of Hogan’s Heroes, LeBeau, was Jewish. I believe his parents were Holocaust survivors. His name may have been Robert Clery.
Crocodiles? I don’t even need those. Which side to choose, communism or Islam? Both are evil and undeserving of victim status. I don’t like government oppression, but if you leave Muslims in peace to practice their “religion”, they’ll destroy your entire civilization. And though in the case of communist China there’s not much to save, can I blame them?

I understand that this is a power display by the Chinese. I suspect it is broader than just about religion, although it plays out about religion at this time
This is a warning that is for their region, that they will play hardball. Africa and India and Russia are watching.
The oppression against organized Christians is part of the same thing taking place against the Uighur. Both cases challenge the political identity the dictatorship demands. One has a religious identity that challenges various philosophical precepts of the dictatorship. The other has a strong ethnic identity resisting being submerged into the Han identity the dictatorship relies on for loyalty. Both of those cases are also no different than the dictatorship’s attacks on the Tibetans and the Falun Gong. All these cases offer individuals something other than the idea that the state and the Communist Party are the same as G-d. THAT - not Islam - is what all these cases are really about. Muslim extremism is just an excuse of the dictatorship, not a reality, with regard to the Uighur.
The CCP don’t understand “the real Islamic threat”.
That is their ally and has been part of their asymmetrical warfare for decades.
Chinese communists ally with Pakistan, Iran, Taliban, any Islamonazi regime is fine with them.
They made it possible for Pakistan to get their bomb and help Iran with their development.
Uighurs in that region have always been the most nominal of Muslims and the Islamic powers don’t care about them.
