In 2014, Chick-Fil-A decided to stop funding the Paul Anderson Youth Home because it was accused of being “anti-LGBT.” But it still had funding commitments with the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, both of which are also falsely accused of being “anti-LGBT” because they have biblical policies on marriage and sex outside of marriage.
Now that the funding commitment has expired, Chick-Fil-A says it will no longer fund the Salvation Army and FCA, even though the Salvation Army fits within its giving priority of funding organizations that provide housing and food banks, and FCA provides education. Instead, Tassopoulos states Chick-Fil-A will now fund Covenant House International, which is much smaller that the Salvation Army (in only 31 cities) and an LGBTQ activist.
Tassopoulos, speaking of funding Covenant House, states: “This provides more focus and more clarity.” At least he is correct, and this clarity reveals the betrayal.
The founder of Covenant House, accused of being a Catholic priest pedophile, was sued for allegedly sexually abusing the youth who were seeking shelter and food. Covenant House proudly promotes LGBTQ on its website, referring to “LGBTQ Inclusion Initiatives,” and even doing an “inclusion assessment” at every one of its facilities.
Covenant House also proudly supports the New York City Gay Pride parade with its own float, banners, t-shirts, and hashtag #CovUnity.
Covenant House is recognized as a national funder of LGBTQ causes.
Chick-Fil-A dumps the Salvation Army because it wants to expand into new markets and now shuns originations the LGBT activists falsely call “anti-LGBT”, and then turns 180 degrees to announce that it will now fund Covenant House, a radical LGBTQ activist organization that celebrates homosexuality, transgenderism, and the entire LGBTQ agenda.
And, Covenant House does not stop at LGBTQ activism, it also takes girls to abortion clinics.

Chick fil a is about to lose a lot of business.
Well, given that most in the entertainment business are liberal, we would have might few choices in that area of life, if we boycotted all who were liberal.
Springsteen was always a corporate rock creation. Nobody ever called him “The Boss”. That was pure marketing created by an executive. He is the Justin Bieber of classic rock.He was used as a marketing ploy to gullible mom rockers in the 80’s.
Chick fil a is about to lose a lot of business.
The decision of theirs makes no sense, in dollars and cents.
They have grown to become one of the biggest fast food places in America with their values. They have grown in spite of the liberals having targeted them and their desire to force them out of business.
I agree they will lose business.
They will see erosion of business from people who have supported them because of their values. But they are not going to attract significant new business from the liberals.
The liberals will take the position that, while this is a “first step” for Chick Fil A, the liberals will still have disdain for “their history of bigotry” or some such pablum, and still won’t go there anyway.
So they will lose support among their core base, while gaining insignificant numbers of new customers from the liberals, many of whom have disdain for fast food anyway. They wouldn’t have set food inside a Chick Fil A even if it were run by open homosexuals.
I’m guess its because homosexual leftoids will sic the government upon the businesses, while Christian activists usually do not.

We went to one for the first time a month ago. We were in a city and thought to try one. None of us thought it was special, either in food quality or service. But we’d have gone again if we were near one, just to support them.
Not now. But then, CFA isn’t worried about customers who rarely are within driving distance of their stores. More concerned about the San Antonio city council.

A third of the country ACTUALLY DOES WORRY ABOUT lgbtWTF rights.
And they are MUCH better at organizing and destroying business than we are.

I see Target’s stock recovered VERY NICELY in the past few years.
I’ll never shop there again. Apparently, conservatives are very forgiving or forgetful.
Wife and I usually eat there 3-4 times a month. We will skip it now. It was good food, a bit pricey, I thought. They can go ahead and let their employees dress in drag now for all I care. We went there primarily because we thought their management reflected our values.
Franklin Graham is a good man, but he chose to ignore reality.
I heard they put one up at the mall around here.
I never got around to eating one. And I guess now I never will.
Target, Gillette and now Chick Fill A.
But i’m no saint. I use amazon prime for so many things.
And he sings through permanently gritted teeth—kind of like how McCain talked. They are/were either always angry or always constipated. In either case, they both suck. And, I have plenty of left-wing musicians in my collection.
Gillette just released an ad showing somebody using a new type of razor to shave the face of an elderly invalid, presumably a relative, so maybe they’re starting to return from the kook side.
I haven’t touched the Target gits since they started letting men into the ladies’ rooms.
There is some real talent with Springsteen however. "Sandy" and "Incident on 57th Street" are just two examples of his early talent (before he was put on covers of TIME and NEWSWEEK) in 1975. "Born to Run" and "Born in USA" are seminal albums with "Tunnel of Love" not far behind.
Too bad he was such an insufferable Leftist.
Thing is they will lose dollars. People will stop camping out days before they open. They became one of the most successful operators in history BECAUSE they stood on the values under demonic attack. Those folks still won’t eat there and now I won’t either.

Drop the Prime if you can. The automated deadline system that they use can be hell on the warehouse workers. Just buy enough stuff at a time to qualify for the free shipping, which has a window of a week or so, instead of getting it right away. Presumably, harried Amazon workers will thank you.
