In addition to the massive slab seen here, there is a a deep and massive reinforced footing on the river side of the slab. Then there is a roughly 8-10 foot (depending n the localhigh water elevation) massive reinforced retaining wall on top of the slab, which serves as the base of the 18 foot bollards.
Git um.
I wonder what the smallest extension ladder that would work to get over the wall cost. And who’s going to be selling them to Mexico.

As part of this new construction (where no barrier at all previously existed), a 150 foot cleared observation area will be maintained on the South side, which will be equipped with sensors/alarms, and kept under persistent video surveillance from the command post. Artificial intelligence software monitors the video and sensor/alarm feeds, to alert operators.
Also, high speed, all-weather patrol road will be included to speed response.
That’s because the lying liberal media claimed when Trump replaced a broken barbed wire fence with the wall that the new wall didn’t constitute a new wall since there was that broken barbed wire fence. The liberals, being the morons they are, claimed the broken barbed wire fence was the same as the wall.

With the concrete base, you would need about a 30 foot ladder - more than a one man lift to carry and get stood up (while the cops are watching).
Once the concertina is strung along back side at the top of the bollards, it gets a lot harder for ladder/rope climbing attempts (while the cops are coming).
Wouldn’t work anyway. The completed walls will have proximity sensors, (above and below) cameras, lighting vibration/contact sensors and a host of other electronic measures to repel the invaders.
