Yup- times have really changed- sears used to sell guns out of their catalogues-

There are places that look similar downtown LA under the bridges/overpasses. Bet back east there are quite a few undeveloped patches of wilderness in the concrete jungle. And if it was a River, then there are probably “protected areas” where building is not allowed. So you are right, it probably is an area like that but Milwaukee city limits is huge and probably includes much undeveloped lands as well as developed. :)

Look close at the pic - the ‘handgun’ in question is a top-break, single shot shotgun that had the barrel and stock cut down. He had a stack of 30 round SKS conversion mags, from the looks of it. Not sure why, the other rifle looks like a tube-fed .22 with no stock. Otherwise, the only thing he could be guilty of is piss-poor housekeeping.
Did they have a warrant ?
