For the liberal media, there's nothing like analogizing President Trump to a murderer. On his MSNBC show, Thursday, MTP Daily, Chuck Todd fretted that President Trump might be acquitted in a Senate impeachment trial, in the same way that O.J. Simpson was acquitted at his criminal trial.
Here was the handwringing Todd:
"I’m having a quick flashback to the O.J. trial, frankly, where the facts were damning, but it didn’t matter. And yet, he was innocent, but everybody knew he was guilty. Are we about to head into a situation like that where he’s going to get acquitted and yet everybody knew he's guilty?"

The mistake was made when the trial was moved out of the jurisdiction in which the crime happened into Los Angeles proper.
It was done because California officials were terrified of the prospect of OJ being found guilty by a predominantly white Jury. They gambled that a mostly black Los Angeles jury would be willing to convict him, but they lost that gamble.
OJ clearly committed these murders, and all claims to the contrary are just bullsh*t.

Also, the glove did fit as well as any driving glove could fit if you tried to put in on over the top of a latex glove. The glove manufacture provided evidence that the glove was purchased by, and was the property of, OJ Simpson.
The idea that Simpson couldn't fit into his own glove is ridiculous.
I don't remember the details about a vial of blood evidence supposedly being carried back to the murder scene, but that doesn't change the fact of the blood found at OJ Simpson's house belonging to the two victims.
I do recall much was made about the claim some samples contained a preservative that was added to the blood at the lab, but this was a common substance found in paint and other surface coatings, and so it is unsurprising that a sample taken off of a painted gate would contain this chemical.
What did they expect for a non cooperative witness? That he would help them?
Going back to the O.J. trial, I was completely disinterested at the time. But in retrospect, the jury were selected because they were idiots. They were purposefully starved of information on top of it. Their verdict was a result of grooming, not evidence.
If the Schifft don’t fit, you must acquit.

I’m not arguing the facts - besides, it was a long dang time ago. Just talking about perceptions. In both, there is the appearance of a frame job. In that case it was the job of the defense to make it appear that way. In this case, that’s essentially what it was. Literally the day after the Russia Hoax died a Muellerable death in the House, Schiff concocts this scheme with the whistleblower, hires away several of that person’s coworkers to protect them from testifying, lies about his contacts etc.
