The Mexican federal government announced the filing of a lawsuit in a U.S. court against Walmart for the August 3 mass shooting in El Paso, Texas. Mexico City claims the shopping center failed in providing necessary and reasonable security measures.

A U.S. law firm hired by Mexico’s Consulate in El Paso filed the lawsuit on behalf of 10 Mexican nationals who were victims in the attack. On August 3, a lone gunman entered the Walmart near the Cielo Vista shopping center targeting what he called “Hispanic invaders” in a manifesto. The man killed 22 and injured 24 more. Texas prosecutors filed capital murder charges against the alleged shooter.

PS: If they were here illegally then it’s Mexico’s fault; here legally then they’re US citizens go away.

When can U.S. citizens sue the Mexican government for their citizens sneaking into this country and committing crimes against them? The Mexican government actively teaches them how to safely get into the U.S. illegally.

The Mexican government? Seriously? We need to sue them for every US citizen killed in Mexico. Ever. Immediately.

I heard lawsuits were coming, I thought individual or even group of families but had no idea it was the Mexican government.

How about we sue them for all the drugs and illegals that cross the border? We need to bury them in lawsuits, then when they don’t pay take their country. It is rich in natural resources.

They can be here legally, and still not be citizens. But, I agree with you. Meheeco can stuff it.

Give them 5 pesos and tell them to GTFO. Sheesh!

Sue the mall for banning self protection tools such as handguns.

Re: your #10: get a grip pal.

Do you talk that way in front of your 9 grand children, your neighbors or your wife's friends?

Not only that, 11th Amendment forbids these kind of suits.

The Mexican federal government announced the filing of a lawsuit in a U.S. court against Walmart ...

Aw come on, everyone knows it was racist and therefore Trump's fault. /s

But I (being an old fart conservative) beg to differ. It's an American problem. So Mexico, leave us alone and we'll deal with it (for better or worse) in our own way at the polls. But just in case, keep your denaro flowing to influence our congressional races. Our millionaire congress persons need the extra cash.

Down here in Texas right now, I think Beto, our Irishman and faux Mexicano friend of the people, needs someone who cares, not to mention our other far-right Democratic liberals. Soon our problems may become your problems. Knowing how much Mexico cares, I'm sure your officials will be prepared to welcome them with open arms into your country as many will soon seek asylum from our Republic.

DISCLAIMER: While I have respect for the citizens of Mexico, I will not condone it's government, nor any government, which attempts to control people and their GOD given rights to choose.

Adios mother*****s. See you in HELL. But then maybe not, as I have HOPE. Thank you for listening to my opinions. You may return to your regular scheduled programming.
