There’s been a lot of talk about impeachment hearing witness Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, but we must admit, the news that he was wounded by an IUD was a genuinely shocking revelation. Wait, what?

That may understate the case on the illustrious John F. Kerry. If I remember, wasn’t he “awarded” 5 Purple Hearts in a total of 3 months on the ground in VN? For sustaining 5 “wounds”, none of which required any medical attention beyond a band-aid? Which was then his ticket back to the US? Which allowed him to begin his politicking, in uniform, at the Paris peach talks? (It has been a while, so maybe my recollection is wrong, but...)
Different between warriors and REMF knob polishers. Absolutely infuriates me that we have military personal who shrug off real injuries while political pansies like this clown walk around with medals they got on a technicality.

My dad deserved his medal. It was buried with him in 1968.
The Army sent me another set of medals and full documentation as his last son.
I cherish the medals. Last September 28 I had a 100-year anniverary gathering with nieces, nephews, ... who remembered my dad.

Correction to our previous correction. It was indeed an IUD that Vindman received his purple heart for. He erroneously thought it was a suppository.
