I predict that there will be more scrutiny, not less, of the decision made by the Chick-fil-A Foundation. I am sure the company will revise its response. More nuance will surely be forthcoming because of the nationwide backlash. Nuance, however, is what causes you to lose in politics, get defeated in war and get burned at the stake in religion.

Most of that was all the fags who've now decided they like those chicken sandwiches.
That pretty much sums it up.
Expecting a fast food restaurant to be a flawless exemplar of Christian values in all ways at all times is going to lead to disappointment. They’re still the same company that provides good food for a good price in a very clean, pleasant environment with polite, happy employees that closes on Sunday that they were before. They’ve been attempting to depoliticize themselves for some time now. I’ll still enjoy eating there and will patronize them every chance I get.
“Sadly”
ROTFLMAO!
“For the life of me I cant understand why Chick-fil-A gives one inch to the leftist, anti-Christian blackmailers. Its TOTALLY UNNECESSARY...”
Progressives infiltrate and take everything over they despise——then destroy. It’s a win—win for them——If we continue to use it, they make their money. If we boycott, then it destroys a company they despise. Evil is evil...
If anything, they did the opposite. The LGBT groups will continue to despise them and call for boycotts until CFA sheds every vestige of Christianity. Many such groups have already announced "this changes nothing!".
They already had a huge customer base of people who love the food and service and lots of Christian and/or conservative supporters who went out of their way to eat at CFA. There were probably even a lot LGBT types who are not political who ate there because they like the food. Now, they have alienated the Christian/conservatives while probably gaining nothing from the homonazis. It's a FAIL.
When he came in he was in a rather sour mood....swearing he'd never eat at CFA again.
The CFA bag was on my desk. I didn't say a word to him. Didn't have to.
CFA had record sales that day.
From there the business accelerated to put them very close to the number 1 fast food company in the USA.
And now, CFA has seemingly capitulated on the very issue that made them what they are.
I will seriously have to reconsider my future purchases with CFA.
I think you hit the chicken on the head! It is more about demographics than moral conviction, sad to say.
That is not one bit more true today than it already was the day Dan Cathey Sr. died.
Chick Fillet was what it was as an expression of Dan Cathey Sr’s faith.
With fast food the quality can vary from location to location, but of the several Chick-fil-A restaurants we have around here... none seem much better than the competing chains. We do have a few outstanding Burger King, Taco Bell, and KFC restaurants near by that stand above the rest because of outstanding managers in the individual stores. Our primary reason for going to Chick-fil-A was because we felt that we wanted to support an organization that stood for something more than the food that they served. But the food we have received has generally been overpriced compared to their competition.
For example, 2 Tim 3:1-2a. Paul talks about dangerous times in the Christian dispensation. He has a list of about 20 characteristics of dangerous men (dangerous to Christians).
First, they are lovers of themselves (over all that is right). Second, they love money.
I'd recommend you stay off the internet for a while and sit down with A) a Bible and B) a concordance. Then read what God has to say about the love of money.
I'm an agnostic.After action report:
Tomorrow I'm getting breakfast at Chick-fil-A in Sparks.
My plan is to ask to see Tiffany, the owner.
I will give her a $1 bill and make her promise to do all she can to insure Chick-fil-A corporate donates that dollar to The Salvation Army.
Who's with me? Is it worth one of your own dollars and a promise to support your favorite Christian charity?
If an agnostic can do it, what's your excuse?
Tiffany wasn't there, nor was her husband.
I asked to talk to the manager.
She very politely refused my cash saying that employees are not allowed to accept money, adding that they have no control over what Corporate does.
I asked her to at least request that Tiffany invite a bell ringer to stand in front of the store, she seemed delighted with the idea and agreed.
All based on a “choice” to be LGBTQ. And this from I is not bullying.
The winning post.
Plus they must have been afraid of the radical left.
Plus they must have been afraid of the radical left.
Ditto!
There s a price to pay for dipshittery!
Chick-filA is a business. To sell more sandwiches they have expanded their customer base.
Success is achieved by being apolitical, not by catering to one group over another.
Ding Ding Ding
A true conservative who gets it
Perhaps you should read about what they are donating to instead. Frontpage Mag has a good piece about it - hint it is a bunch of progressive charities that fund groups screaming for impeachment, more immigration, etc.
Hopefully, it matters to you not because of what has been taken away, but what will now be funded - More money to the democrats.
