Look, the case has been made. Almost everything in the impeachment hearings this week fleshed out and backed up the charge that President Trump muscled Ukraine for political gain. The pending question is what precisely the House and its Democratic majority will decide to include in the articles of impeachment, what statutes or standards they will assert the president violated.
What was said consistently undermined Mr. Trump’s case, but more deadly was what has never been said. In the two months since Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry was under way and the two weeks since the Intelligence Committee’s public hearings began, no one, even in the White House, has said anything like, “He wouldn’t do that!” or “That would be so unlike him.” His best friends know he would do it and it’s exactly like him.

These people are detached from reality. Shift goers out and makes prepared statements that he created before a witness even testifies then the claims statements were made by them that they never said.

All we got in all of those hearings was the prosecutor’s witnesses and the defence allowed limited cross examination permission. And after hearing ONLY the prosecution witnesses, and limiting the cross examination, there is STILL no case.
This is an embarrassment to the Democrats. History will not be kind to them, whether they vote to impeach or not. And Nancy’s stuck. She may not have the votes. Then what?

Peggy Noonan is way past her ‘best by’ date.
She and Bill Kristol need to get an old folks home room, together.

Anytime someone starts the discussion with “Look” or “Listen” then the high gain filter gets activated. That it is Noonan doing the discussing hardly makes it worthwhile to even bother listening.
Trump wasn’t allowed to present his defense or to call witnesses.
Democrat kangaroo court was rigged from start to finish. In what world does Peggy Noonan believe it was fair?

These people are insane. To my thinking, nothing in the impeachment inquiry went in any way favorable to the Dems. They lost ground every day. But they are pretending they just won the Super Bowl.
I hadn’t realized Noonan was this stupid.
All the “proof” has been hearsay and ALL the witnesses have impeached themselves in cross questioning.
