I think since they know the Senate doesn’t have the votes to impeachment, they’ll vote to censure Trump instead. Therefore Schiff, Andrea Chalupa, Hunter Biden, and the whistleblower will avoid a trial and spare themselves from having to testify. I think that’s their game plan.

True, Halper was not DOJ. So leave him to Durham (heh). But Halper is probably one of the informants DoJ used as part of the Steele dossier scam. The part he played in the FISA process would thereby be central to any wrongdoing by DoJ personnel and laid out in the IG report. That is my expert analysis of the situation as a party who doesn’t know what I’m talking about.
Grassley insists he gets the info in July. The Pentagon stonewalls until the FISA report, which will incriminate Halper, is about to be released. Now they come across? No one could possibly question their motives. Who knows, maybe Nunes is about to get the info he’s had withheld from him for two years.

I disagree. Remember, the House needs only 50% plus 1 to impeach. That amounts to only 218 votes, and the Rats hold many more seats than that; and even Rats in swing districts will not want to screw up their DNC funding.
Trump will be impeached. A censure isn’t going to cut it with the Rats and their rabid minions. The Rats want to run their 2020 campaigns against an IMPEACHED president, not a censured president. Hell, most Americans don’t even know what “censure” is; they confuse it with “censor.” In any event, a censure is just a note in one’s personnel file that he/she was a bad boy/girl. Pretty mild, and in the end, meaningless.
