Fiona Hill, former National Security Council senior director for Europe and Russia, will testify before the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday, Nov. 21, in the impeachment probe into President Donald Trump. Hill told lawmakers in closed-door testimony last month that then-national security adviser John Bolton expressed concerns that the Trump administration was trying to pressure Ukrainian officials. The focus of the impeachment inquiry is a July 25 phone call in which Trump asked Ukraine's president to investigate 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden.

But here it is. There is nothing wrong with Anglicized words.
In the States we do not pronounce Berlin "Bare Lean".
dont know his name...but it was funny.
Let me put it this way (from my post before this one):
“Well, I dont call mexico, meheeko. And I dont call Germany Deutschland.”
Right now, I’m in ‘MURICA. I call it Key-ev. :D
maloney trying to claim that Turner was “mansplaining”
Welch is now rattling on and on against Trump...saying nothing that interesting nor informative that hasn’t been said many tives before.
“Some fat dude with glasses was just bloviating about how Trumps phone call jeopardized the rule of law. Who is he, since Fox wouldnt show his entire name plate?”
That is the insufferable Washington Weeper, Rat congressman Heck.
after all of this I think when Trump gets reelected he needs to shut down the NSC
Watching the video of the Jim Jordan dressing down. Hill definitely switched sides and Holmes is still defiant.
And NJ is pronounced NEW JERSEY — NOT Joisy!! Only Brooklynites pronounce it like that.
It sounds like these foreign service people are trying to become stars in whatever country they’re assigned to, and so they push that country’s needs over Americas. They probably feel that in America, they’re just another pig feeding at the government trough, but if they go overseas, they can be big shots.
I think this is going to end in the House censoring Trump.
They really have no other path.
The evidence is laughable and they don’t want the Senate subpoenaing witnesses and holding several candidates from being on the campaign trail.
And these people work OVER THERE. So - perhaps people should maybe understand that. They have to go BACK there - and they are watching. And just PERHAPS - it's OK to pronounce a city the way PEOPLE REALLY SAY IT - instead of being so self-righteous and acting like we say it right and the Ukrainians are wrong?
“Jim Jordans last round was great. I want the YouTube.”
Too bad he didn’t complete his statement, and include the necessary corollary: The Democrats have brought this country to the brink of civil war. But, that was their intent all along.
He goes under the Republican flag. Seems he is retiring this year.
jmho, not sure he is conservative.
Wenatchee, Chelan, Yakima, Spokane
All suffer. And from MSM readers even.
Well they are ducking the history of fine dining...
They want Giuliani as their ‘scalp’.
Thanks! All I saw was a letter M, so his first name starts with an M. I’m guessing Moron? Morose? Maroon? Maricon?
And let me put it this way: You can call it anything you want - and we do call countries by different names (all one has to do to know that is watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics). But to act like someone else - who's been there and worked with them - is wrong for pronouncing it the way they do in their own native tongue is a little ignorant.
Of course, the problem will still be that if they issue a subpoena for the whistleblower and he refuses to show (or any other hostile witness), presumably there won’t be any recourse apart from enforcement action based on a committee vote, which we know will fail. Same for any questions Schiff refuses to answer if he goes under oath.
