Why We Wrote ThisThe Ohio congressman has been given a prominent role in the public hearings a nod to his bare-knuckle style and appeal to the GOP base. The move also reflects the extent to which theatrics are part of the process.
He made his name in Congress as an uncompromising brawler. A college wrestling champion, he cut his teeth on the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, grilling witnesses in high-profile hearings. He later co-founded the hard-line House Freedom Caucus that helped drive former Republican Speaker John Boehner into early retirement.
Now Rep. Jim Jordan has emerged as the GOPs point man in the public phase of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.
Unlike his colleagues, the Ohio congressman regularly shows up to the hearings sans jacket, in just shirtsleeves and tie. He interrupts, corrects, and claps back. On Friday, during the testimony of former Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, Rep. Adam Schiff, the House Intelligence Committees Democratic chair, tried to cut Mr. Jordan off after the latter had reached his five-minute limit for questioning. My indulgence is wearing out, Mr. Schiff said.
Our indulgence wore out with you a long time ago, Mr. Chairman, Mr. Jordan retorted.
Observers say the Ohio congressman is particularly skilled at building in clear, easy-to-understand sound bites an impeachment counternarrative. Where Democrats allege that Mr. Trump improperly used his office to try to get a foreign government to investigate a political rival, Mr. Jordan and other Republicans argue that the presidents opponents are trying to connect unrelated events, based largely on hearsay, to undo the result of the 2016 election.
The Democrats have never accepted the will of the

Democrats believe they have a “mandate from the masses”.
Elections to them are a “bourgeois” thing.

Democrats do not really believe they have a mandate. They simply do not accept the idea that there has to be a legitimate basis for the exercise of power. It is simply the "end justifies any means" standard that rationalized the Communist & Nazi tyrannies.

Jordon harks back to the Conservative Ohio Republican leadership, which was formidable in the middle of the last Century—pockets of which are still active. He deserves the supprt of all patriots!

Not to sound like a Negative Nancy but he doesn’t have to do much work to make this whole thing look like a sham. The Democrats are only doing this because they can control the narratives that the American people hear from the media.

"
Elections to them are a bourgeois thing."
They're not that ideological anymore, it's an unnecessary expense.
They know they need to tolerate elections as smoke and mirrors to keep the "little people" from realizing that the entire system is rigged to avoid having the "little people" wake up, so they tolerate them.

They are trying to wear Trump down.
And find some lies that will stick.
Schiff is a very good actor.
And liar.
Where does his power come from?

"They are trying to wear Trump down."However, they won't succeed. President Trump is very much like the pioneers who settled this country...for the love of country and freedom. This POTUS is our rock, he is the strength we need in the face of these treacherous radicals who are willingly tearing the nation apart...having their socialist tantrums......their winter is coming.
Hang in there President Trump, America loves and respects you!

Last week, Mr. Jordan went after William Taylor, the top United States diplomat in Ukraine, insisting that Mr. Taylors information was suspect. And youre their star witness, Mr. Jordan said. Ive seen church prayer chains that are easier to understand than this.
LOLs!

That was priceless......love Jim Jordan.......and John Kennedy with his homespun insults. We’ve got a bunch of good real Conservatives up and coming and we need to keep them there and cull out the RINO’s and Elites in both houses......and the sooner the better!!!

Today, surprisingly, my former congressman Mike Turner of Dayton wiped out Sondman. I didn’t know Mike had it in him.
Interesting that more of these guys (and gals, like Debbie Lesko) seem to be growing spines.
