Most of us who were there on that sunny August day will never forget. For everyone else, there's a sign: "Above this plaque is a bullet hole. It marks the heroic action taken by Family Research Council employee Leo Johnson on August 15, 2012." That was the morning Floyd Corkins walked into our lobby and changed FRC forever. He'd bought a gun and learned how to use it. He'd loaded three magazines. In his backpack was a stash of chicken sandwiches that he planned to smear in the faces of staffers he hoped to kill. "They endorse Chick-fil-A," he said. It would be a "statement against the people who work there."
Thanks to Leo, it was a statement he never got to make. Fourteen days after someone snapped a picture of our staff smiling over boxes of Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, Leo was the only thing standing between Floyd Corkins and an FRC massacre. To a lot of Americans, the company's decision to walk away from years of biblical truth is upsetting. To us, it's personal.
In the days and years after that, we never talked publicly about Chick-fil-A's response to the shooting. Mainly because there wasn't one. Through all of the press conferences, the trial, and sentencing, I never once picked up the phone or opened my email to a message from someone at headquarters. Not even to ask about Leo. Obviously, Chick-fil-A wanted then what they want publicly now: as much distance from our movement as possible.

This is the thanks we get for coming to their aid a few years ago when they were being attacked and boycotted by the Homosexual community!
Thanks for nothing CF!
Back in the 1990’s few stood behind Dr. Laura when the gay lobby successfully forced her off of television.
And they’ve been absolutely running the table ever since.
Bitch bitch moan and groan about how pure you are and on and on and on
I go to Chick Fil A because of their tasty and reasonable priced chicken sandwiches
not because whatever their politics are of the day, or what group they donate to
Doesn’t matter to me as well as many Americans who don’t let politics run their lives
They will be out of business in time. Theyll start by declining in upkeep, theyll decline in quality of staff. Then theyll open sundays. Then theyll be gone.
People and organizations can either go with God or the enemy. But not both.
They have no protection
Does the public know WHO connected to Chik-fil-A proposed a change to the policy? This didn’t just happen on it’s own.
Somebody, or perhaps a group of Board Members made that decision. Did these Board Members have majority ownership?
Did they slowly soak up more and more influence via stock purchases? This, I could see happening, before others knew their intent.
Boy how fast we turn on a friend for making a mistake.
Is there any way we can help them back into the fold?
I miss Dr. Laura. I don’t think she’s on any radio now either. I don’t really do Pod-Casts, if that’s what she does.
We can pray for them. But I firmly believe not buying their chicken will send the strongest message possible
Huckabee on Chick-fil-A Cave: They Bowed Down to Bullies Were Convinced They Needed to Be More Woke!
CLV = Customer Lifetime Value:
When left wing corporate board member idiots chase away fans/customers/buyers to promote Social Justice Warfare/Welfare BS, often those customers will stay away for their lifetime.
P&G, Nike, pro football and fill in the blank and now Chick-fil-A have ended their relationships with millions of Deplorables customers with their Justice Warfare BS marketing.
These idiots depending on the millennials to bail them out, may be even more stupid than pushing SJW BS.
CLV aka Customer Lifetime Value:
The model for customer cash flows treats the firm’s customer relationships as something of a leaky bucket. Each period, a fraction (1 less the retention rate) of the firm’s customers leave and are lost for good.[1]
The CLV model has only three parameters: (1) constant margin (contribution after deducting variable costs including retention spending) per period, (2) constant retention probability per period, and (3) discount rate.
Furthermore, the model assumes that in the event that the customer is not retained, they are lost for good.

That’s exactly what is going on here.
The sooner they feel the financial pressure of their mistake, the sooner they will correct it.
Now I was reliably told on here by other freepers that this was all fake news and chic-fil-a wasnt kowtowing and I was an idiot for thinking that.
This story is in the news. The same news that has been reporting that President Trump had a heart attack.
This may be the media pushing a story to pressure Chic Fil A to follow their lead.
Who knows anymore. None of the news is trustworthy.
I wish I knew the true extent of this. How much of it is true, and how much is not. Was their decision based on influence from the homo community, or have the homo’s taken this and run with it? We have used CFA as almost our only source for occasional fast food for years, primarily because of their Christian principals, and conservative leanings. Plus, the two that are here are clean and have good food.
Dr. Laura is on SiriusXM and I think you can also subscribe to a subscription streaming site that carries her show. She says she specifically got off of broadcast radio precisely because her advertisers were constantly becoming the victims of pressure campaigns by the gay mafia.
Unfortunately she has caved on the issue herself. She now takes calls and counsels people in gay relationships. I think she still lives in California where they’d probably slap her in leg irons if she didn’t.
Dr Laura was done when she dropped the N word on the air.
I was a CFILET supporter.
No longer.
I do not respect folks who have no spines.
Im going to accept CFA presidents statement that they will not give to any charity that doesnt support homosexuality
The new giving structure moves away from the multiyear commitments Chick-fil-A had with the Salvation Army and the FCA and focuses on annual grants, which Tassopoulos said will be reviewed and assessed each year. Future partners could include faith-based and non-faith-based charities, but the company said none of the organizations have anti-LGBT positions.
