This story is in the news. The same news that has been reporting that President Trump had a heart attack.

This may be the media pushing a story to pressure Chic Fil A to follow their lead.

Who knows anymore. None of the news is trustworthy.

The Salvation Army has released a statement confirming that Chick-fil-A has ended their support, and that it was over gay issues.

But the story isn’t hearsay - Chic-fil-a has confirmed the quotes given to the original story - it’s the “no anti-LGBT charities” line paraphrased by the article’s author after the quote that’s the issue and Chic-fil-a’s carefully worded PR response ignores it outright and defends that they’re not blocking Christian charities.

Which was never the argument and was never stated in article to begin with.

It’s true that the media can’t be trusted but the facts are out there for all to see.

If the story is fake, such a damaging story would be quickly countered by Chick-fil-A issuing an immediate denouncement of it.

They have not done so. I don’t expect they will, unless and until they suffer the predictable financial blow-back that is certain.
