Has he been asked if he’d been in contact with Bush or Rice recently?

So, how long has Sondland been a Republican? How often did he contribute ‘large sums’ to Republicans? He’s from OREGON. I have family on the left side of the Cascades. They are, as are most on that side, hard core Leftists. I realize the right side of the Cascades is more Conservative. I am just wondering if he was/is a plant. Did he ask to be the Ambassador to the EU? Wondering where he gets his animus toward Trump. Even Trump’s enemies who have already testified have said there was no QPQ or bribery.

The only thing missing is a crime.

So let me understand this.

There is a written signed law ( by Clinton) that the 2 countries would investigate corruption

Trump follows that law and wants an assurance from a guy who ran against corruption. Doesn’t matter what intermediaries convey that message

Therefore doing the right this is a nefarious “ quid pro quo”

I hope Nunes or Jordan rips him and the Dems on this very point...

Prove it. Just saying it isn’t enough.

i sure hope there WAS a ‘quid pro quo’

getting the Ukrainians to help investigate the Biden bribery crimes was exactly what a USA president should have done

and perfectly legal, too, indeed one could easily argue that failing to do this would have been deriliction of duty

(except of course that it was not necessary and so PDJT did not do it, in fact...but if he had he would be worthy of praise for doing his job well)

As I said weeks ago, quid pro quo obviously occurred, it’s easy to prove and I’m surprised Trump and allies ever denied it.

The real issue is motive for the quid pro quo.

Was it done in pursuit of criminal justice, or to dig political dirt? That is the battlefield.

Trump had reasonable belief a US crime had been committed in Ukraine by a US citizen. That meets the threshold under US law to open an investigation. And makes the request to Ukraine not only legal, but required by treaty.

Quid Pro Quo = This for that. Unless I missed something; isn’t that how negotiations are made? At the very least it’s a starting point to something that’s mutually beneficial to both sides.

I’m not seeing a problem here. A whole lot of mountains being made from a single tiny molehill.

He didn’t like Rudy being involved and didn’t like the fact that Rudy was going around him and others. From what Rudy has said, comms were being blocked by the standard channels(obama holdover commies) so Rudy went around them for Trump.

Is there any evidence to back his “rememberance”?

This guy is not making sense. The President told them to work with Giuliani and they did....not the President. Giuliani supposedly tells Perry, Volker and others he wanted the Ukranian President to issue a statement re: investigations into Burisma and Biden. Then he says Giuliani expressed that stipulation to the Ukrainians and “us”. This is all over the place. He also says it was in the call, which it wasn’t. If you read through this, it’s almost as if this guy is changing his testimony so badly he wants you to know it’s not true.

If this is their “bombshell”... good luck.

This mans opinion, does not an impeachment make...

But we all know the press will run with it like its the word of God.

He did not dispute other witness accounts of the call,

But none of those witnesses were "on" the call, were they?

Sondland is ambassador to the EU. Has absolutely nothing to do with Ukrainian Policy.....and should not be passing anything on to Ukraine in that regard.

CNN just had a headline proclaiming “Sondland says he has no direct knowledge of Trump involvement...”

So why is anyone paying attention to this bullshit?

“Sondland also described President Trump’s skepticism toward Ukraine: “He expressed concerns that the Ukrainian government was not serious about reform. He even mentioned that Ukraine tried to take him down in the last election.’”

That’s it in a nutshell, isn’t it. He was afraid the new government was going to continue their fraudulent ways - like the US Democratic Party. They make many promises and never deliver.
