FULL TITLE:
How is this not the major story coming out of the House Intelligence Committee “impeachment inquiry” hearings yesterday? A United States military officer serving in the White House with responsibilities for relations with a foreign country being offered the post of minister of defense of that country is shocking.
Yet, yesterday’s testimony by Lt.Col. Alexander Vindman that he was offered the position of Minister of Defense of Ukraine is not the subject of banner headlines today.
Vindman duly reported the offer up his chain of command, as any such offer must be reported. The fact that 2 other embassy staffers sitting with him when the offer was made, as he subsequently noted, made that report inescapable. He says that he did not take it seriously, calling it “somewhat comical” and “funny.” And the former Ukrainian official who made the offer, Oleksander Danylyuk, the former Chairman of the National Security and Defence Council in Ukraine, now claims it was made in jest. Erin Banc of The Daily Beast:
[A] former top national security official in Ukraine told The Daily Beast that he was “joking” when he offered Vindman the post and never actually had the authority to make such an offer.
Oleksander Danylyuk, the former Chairman of the National Security and Defence Council in Ukraine, said he only remembers speaking with Vindman once about the defense minister position. He said it he and Vindman had engaged in a light-hearted conversation about how the two used to live close to one another in the former Soviet Union.

It doesn’t help their narrative. If he’s being offered a job by a foreign power, shows his loyalties are in question. So they hid the story.
MSM = Democrat PR machine.
“He said it he and Vindman had engaged in a light-hearted conversation about how the two used to live close to one another in the former Soviet Union. “
Russian election meddling is still ongoing.
Active duty field grade officer with top secret clearance working for our intel service, born in Ukraine, raised in Ukraine enclave (with, per Brit Hume- perfectly normal, understandable loyalties to Ukraine), seriously, repeatedly, offered a position by Ukraine, in their defense organization that, but as TOP defense minister nothing
Crickets.
That is bad
Does jackoff Vindman have dual citizenship for them to supposedly have offered him a minister of defense position? If so what is he doing at the NSC with a top secret security clearance?
Since he holds a TS clearance....did he report the offer of the job to his security chief? If not, it’s a serious violation, and the type that you’d lose your clearance over.
First I’d heard of it.
Eh, he just announced the offer to the entire world in congressional testimony
No one there cares
How can anyone doubt that they are 24/7 propagandists for the democrat/CPUSA(Communist Party USA)?
Benedict Vindman elected to continue as a spy
Ukraine politics seems to be like ours with continuous policy changes in leadership. Who was the Ukrainian President making that Defense Minister offer? BTW that’s an important question because it tells US where this clown is coming from.
I have a feeling that LTC Vindman will have a difficult time making it to the interview in Kiev after he is reassigned to a permanent active duty station in Antarctica.

Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman certainly comes across as a slippery character. He didnt inform his boss when he went to lawyers over his concerns over the Trump-Zelensky phone call, and informed the Ukraine president about an alleged plot but not his own commander in chief.
And he exaggerated the importance of his position, the old resume-enhancement gambit, and was busted for it yesterday.
...
Vindman previously claimed in his opening statement to be the principal advisor to the National Security Advisor and the president on Ukraine and the other countries in my portfolio.
When asked about the claim however by Republican Congressman Mike Turner of Ohio, Vindman admitted to having never met, spoken with, or advised the president on anything.
Youve never spoken to the president and told him advice on Ukraine, Turner said.
That is correct, Vindman said.
That is correct!
A little bit on Vindman's 2 year stint in Moscow.
I assume that means renouncing your US citizenship and certainly resigning from the US military. Does the offer come with a fat paycheck from Burisma?
bkmk
He is a spy/operative for the Ukrainians and the democrats
