“They just had to wait for the Internet to make the Millennial generation believe their garbage”.

My husband is an 73 year old fart and a Luddite who does not use the computer. He is thoroughly brainwashed and actually believes that twaddle. In fact just last week he asked me if I was a “climate change denier”. As Bugs Bunny would say, “what a maroon”.

President Trump passed an EO to scrub all federal websites and databases of the term “climate change”.

Says the guy/gal posting something on the, wait for it, INTERNET!

The unintentional irony of the Boomer generation never ceases to amuse me.

Millennial by chance, FReeper by choice.

You use it too so what’s your point? The Internet wasn’t invented for the purpose of Millennials or Boomers or anyone else to enjoy. Like every other invention it was made to make money for its creator.

Nope.

I was using what would become ‘The Internet’ in the late 80’s early 90’s. It was originally a system to be used by the Universities and military to be able to communicate information and knowledge about certain things, THEN some guy named Al Gore decided to open it up for commercial use...............

Few serious people deny that the Earth has warmed and that sea levels are rising.

If the Earth is indeed warming, why were the propagandists forced to change their mantra to "climate change"? (crickets)

Ask him, “When in, the last 12,000 years or so, since the Ice Ages, has the climate NOT been ‘changing ‘?” ...............

“...the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.” --- H. L. Mencken, In Defense Of Women.

Few serious people deny that the Earth has warmed and that sea levels are rising.

I can be very serious; and, I happen to be a scientist.

The earth has warmed? Since what year? I suspect that warming is minor and cyclic and dependent (mostly) upon solar energy fluctuation.

Sea levels rising?

Really?

The sea level "canaries in the coal mines" are the Maldives with an average above sea level elevation of 1.5 meters above sea level. They happen to be doing just fine.

The whole warming mythology is mainly dependent upon computer modeling; and, there are so very, very many, many unknowns within the models that are addressed with assumptions that the model results are driven by the assumptions. This is the opposite of science and the opposite of the scientific method.

I could go on.

Thank you for your post on this September, 2019 thread.

You said you are a scientist and yet you do not believe the “Global warming” myth.

I agree with you that what is passing as the “science” that proves Global warming is a fact and that the dire predictions of global disaster in 12 years are true and should dictate drastic action by our governments -are not in fact based on REAL science.

Do you have any articles by scientists who agree with you and me? And please don’t use Tony Heller as your source.

Thank you for any help you can give on this issue.

Something like 93%(?) of the “greenhouse” effect is due to water vapor. And 99% of water vapor is natural.

There is a TV ad that comes on during the football games. I think it is some bank employees that joint a couple of guys in their boat to help clean up the river. (Showing how “woke” the bank is.)

They are fishing out plastic bottles using nets. There’s maybe 50 bottles in the john boat and another 200 scattered in the water as they are scooping and chatting.

At the end of the commercial it shows them heading up the river into the sunset using a shot from overhead - with a mile or more of river free of garbage.

I’ve been in, worked near or lived by numerous rivers in my life. Other than the one in WV that had just been hit by a flood and had wrecked homes and appliances and cars along it’s banks, they all have been pretty free of debris.
