Amid reports that fast food chain Chick-fil-A was halting donations to Christian groups, the restaurant's foundation is maintaining they are philanthropically restructuring, not caving to political correctness in pursuit of higher profits.
Reports emerged Monday that after months of consistently negative press coverage related to their long-held views about marriage and human sexuality and donations to like-minded organizations, that the famous chicken sandwich shop was discontinuing their financial contributions to groups characterized as "anti-LGBT."
The Christian Post reached out to Chick-fil-A Monday, asking them to respond to the criticisms that they were compromising their principles in order to appease their ideological opponents.

Bingo. You have now-rare discernment.
its fascinating that its all deflection with you.
Who says Dan Cathy won’t donate far more than the $115k that SA got from them in the past? Try thinking beyond your nose here.
Try not fantasizing. There is no chance Can Cathy donates six figures to SA after this.
I reread the article. The author of the article says the company said. Im still not seeing a direct quote from a CFA executive
You've proven denial ain't just a river in Egypt. You're "woke" alright.
You know it is possible to think multiple things at the same time.
You know DAN Cathy personally to make such a statement?
Youre also not seeing a direct denial in the OP
Remember when Yoplait yogurt had women mailing in the foil tops and in return the company would donate to breast cancer? That was ridiculous. Waste the cost of a stamp and envelope when that money could have been sent to charity. Their customers weren’t able to count the expense toward a charitable tax deduction but Yoplait’s gimmick earned them $$$$$ in tax deductions. If Yoplait or any company wants to donate to charities, then do so but don’t make it a gimmick to purchase their product.
One of my jobs demanded the employees give to United Way. Many didn’t want to give to anything or didn’t want to give specifically to United Way. Those who dared to question were hauled in on the carpet. How dare management make such demands.
Now days, companies have jumped on the political wagon and made it public knowledge. Way to lose employees and customers.
Lots of so-call Christian Charities are giving money to keep illegals flowing into the United States...
The best solution is to take tax breaks away from all charities. Most of them a little more than ways for super rich jerks like Hillary and Soros to protect protect their wealth while allowing them to meddle in the lives of everyday people.
Every employer I've had the past 30 years has been on the United Way bandwagon. Never gave them a single penny.
My current employer (of 15 years ...) makes it a point to send one of their company sponsored UW reps to speak to everyone who doesn't "give."
Every year I get the pitch. Every year I refuse.
UW is one of the most corrupt "charities" there is.
You know DAN Cathy personally to make such a statement?
I know what’s in the CFA document. CFA is not donating to SA and FCA. You can day dram about whatever he does in private. Nobody cares. Have fun.
Using your own logic, I haven't seen you deny the accusation that you beat your gay lover ......
Just sayin'.
I reread the article. The author of the article says the company said. Im still not seeing a direct quote from a CFA executive
CFA released a document with their donations for 2019. SA and FCA are not on it. The proof is in the pudding as they say.
Therein lies a slippery slope. Lots of people would like to force churches to pay taxes.
“Future partners could include faith-based and non-faith-based charities, but the company said none of the organizations have anti-LGBT positions.
Romans Ch 1 is an anti-LGBT position.
See post #67, then come back and try again.
Most “churches” today are nothing but political organizations and should be taxed as such.
I challenged the United Way “participation” plan in the 90’s and suffered for it. Fortunately I was smart enough to do it behind closed doors and managed to get the UW removed from “active” status to “may elect to participate”; otherwise I would of been unemployed if I had done it in public.
