The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 11/18/19 | Sen. Ron Johnson

Posted on 11/18/2019 4:51:15 PM PST by hardspunned

I write in response to your letter dated Nov. 16, 2019. You requested "any firsthand information...about President Trump's actions toward Ukraine between April and September 2019"

I hope this is helpful.

9-1/2 pages. I hope there’s something useful in there.

Description on Scribd:
Senator Ron Johnson sends a letter to HPSCI Ranking Member Devin Nunes outlining issues with Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman who is a member of the White House National Security Council. It is almost guaranteed Vindman was the primary source for CIA "whistleblower" Eric Ciaramella. Johnson outlines a duplicitous motive held by Vindman.

He likely will, and that will be an honest committee subbing lots of witnesses adam shiftless would not allow, including SloJoe Biden and the ‘Charlie’ whistleblower.

Interesting recounting of his interactions with the weasely Vindman.

Vindman told Sen. Johnson that it's "the position of the NSC that our relationship with Ukraine should be kept separate from our geopolitical competition with Russia."

Johnson basically said, Wait what? How is that even possible?

Johnson saw the pattern of these interagency types believing their own consensus was the only thing that mattered, that they were the ones setting policy, not the President.

Long letter, but worth the read.

Although somewhat self-serving, and disagreeing with the President on the withholding of funding, Johnson in the letter recognized and did not dispute Trump’s power to do so.

The headline said the letter was addressed to Nunes, but it was also addressed to Jordan, who was listed first. He appropriately copied Schiff, and appropriately put his name at the bottom of the pile.

It appears again, obvious, that the State Dept and the “17 Intelligence agencies” within the Deep State in fact do set foreign policy and actions.

Presidents come and go but the real government is forever

Johnson thoroughly backs up EVERYTHING Trump has said. The only quid pro quo came from that putz, Murphy, directed to Zelensky. “He warned Zelensky not to respond to requests from American political actors or he would risk losing Ukraine’s bipartisan support”. In other words, tell Rudi to F off or no aid.

Wow, Sen Johnson has extensive FIRST HAND knowledge of this issue, and has had a lot of contact with the key people involved. He will be a huge asset if this goes to the Senate.

When Vindman stated in his testimony that he relayed his thoughts on the phone call to other individuals I KNEW he was the source of the LEAKING to the so called WB!!! Vindman NEEDS to be court marshaled for LEAKING classified information he NEEDS to be relieved of duty NOW!!!

Exactly. But instead all we get is gum flapping and a stern letter?

Johnson has obviously been tasked by McConnell as a red meat tosser to the GOP base for this election cycle. His pro-Trump profile has suddenly increased, he is appearing on TV in support of POTUS, stern letters, etc.

Don’t hold your breath on that one. Senate rules allow the minority to block witnesses. Likely months of bickering on process before he would appear. By then it won’t matter and the impeachment cake will have been baked in the House.

I got the feeling Vindman thinks he runs foreign policy as pertains to Ukraine.

Why shouldn’t he feel that way with The Resistance in full bloom? He sees a GOP Senate blocking Trump’s DNI pick, the DOJ refusing to prosecute McCabe after being criminally referred 16 months ago, POTUS publicly undermined by military leaders, IG report slow walked, etc., etc.

Your link goes directly to the document. The Conservative Treehouse article is also very illuminating on the Pentagon’s role in this ongoing coup.
