Why should we fight to keep that garbage in the Union? I say good riddance.

California sends more tax revenue to Washington DC then it gets back in federal spending. Furthermore California is not even in the top ten for welfare spending per capita.

I think Ford's impending EV line is what Ford has in mind for vehicle sales in CA and to the CA regime.

Good, in a few years they’ll look like Cuba. Oh, wait, they already do...

Still missing premium cigars and well-maintained 1950s Chevrolets, Cadillacs and Imperials.

Getting those pesky peasants the hell out of the way of all the entertainment industry nitwits' vehicles (including the limos) and the ruling class is one reason for the policy.

This will be challenged in Federal Courts and those automakers will win. Notice that California is asserting that only those automakers who ACKNOWLEDGE the right of California to set its own standards will be granted the privilege to sell to the state. In other words, they must bow to the state.

Sounds medieval doesn’t it?

The weird thing is that New York State sits on top of the Marcellus shale formation. They have more natural gas than they could use in 100 years. But they don’t allow the extraction of this gas. They made their bed; let them lie in it.

California is a failure as a socialist state. But they are a huge success as a welfare state.

No other state comes close to California in terms of total welfare spending

Homelessness in the United States exists in every state. Each state has different laws and other conditions which influence the number of homeless persons and what services are available to their homeless people.

More. Much much more.

300 is low. We were quoted nearly 2k for a converter on a Chevrolet Cobalt. My daughter just drove it with out of state registration and it eventually migrated back to us. They put the 2k to a newer car of their own.

GM and the other manufacturers should immediately pull all support for the current government fleets.

Yes, if the ruling class can just drive those uppity peasants out of California and replace them with more compliant peasants, they will have achieved their objective--at least in California--but they will still have the uppity peasants elsewhere in the USA to deal with--at least until they can replace them too.

I’ve hear that California economy is the 5th largest in the world. Just saying.
*************************************************
Perhaps today. The question is “for how long”. I suspect that, sadly, we will begin to see a decline as they gradually drive their most productive citizens and businesses away.

CA remains 5th in the world, and growing.

“Then they’ll migrate east and pollute our states worse”

They’ll find the states east of California to be far less accommodating then the squeamish limp wrists of California who let them overrun their state.

Tucson recently voted 71-29 to nix “sanctuary city” status and that’s just 60 miles from the Mexican border.

And I don’t have any problem at all with setting up border controls at Yuma, Blythe, Needles and Reno to bottle up the attempted invaders. Nothing would be funnier then seeing the Calitrash trying to talk their way out of that.

All liberty will quickly die, if we don’t keep the institutionalized anti-American, anti-God, anti-Constitutional socialist from “creeping” out of CA.

LOL. Have the cops chasing you in golf carts.
